“What does that mean?”
“He outbid someone on it and used some shady ways of getting his name in there. What we’re hearing is, the Crow’s were involved,” he explains. Now, I narrow my eyes at him.
“Why would they be involved? I thought they didn’t get into shit in Nevada?”
“Apparently, they do, and when they heard Marcus was in and they were out, they wanted to pay the Kings a visit.” Anger swims inside of me. How dare they fire shots at a fucking charity event? There were children there. What kind of sick fucks are we actually dealing with?
“They’re all dead,” I say through clenched teeth.
“Let’s not get ahead of ourselves, Rylan.”

“Rylan, calm down. I get it, son, but we have to be smart about this. We can’t just fire back now.”
“Why the fuck not?”
“They’ll expect that. They’re probably banking on that,” he says. I nod my head, running both hands through my hair, tugging at the ends.
“You’re right. But what do we do now?”
“We wait until the time is right, and then we hit them,” he smiles.
“Which is when?”
“They’ll be having their ceremonies in a few months. We gain intel on when and where, and we show up.” I nod my head and shove out of my chair before moving toward the door.
“Rylan?”
“Yeah?” I ask, looking over my shoulder.
“We’re going to take care of them.” I nod my head and walk out, closing the door behind me. Walking down the steps, I go into the living room to see the guys sitting there talking and laughing with Angel, but Syn still looks shaken.
