“Little bee, I’ve told you, there’s not much I wouldn’t do for you.” He put his hand on her stomach. “Let me put a baby in your belly.”

Am I dreaming right now?

“How about we talk about this at home where it’s warm?”

“Whatever you want. Just say you’re staying.”

Utah nodded slowly, a small smile escaping her lips. “I have some conditions.”

It was adorable how she thought there’d been a shift in power as she negotiated their rules.

“And I get to call you Schmoopy.”

“No. You do not get to call me Schmoopy.”

Pretty much everything else she wanted? He gave it to her on a silver platter. Fortunately, she loved their D/s dynamic in the bedroom almost as much as he did, so she was all for keeping that part in place.

They decided she’d wait for six months before she went off birth control, then they’d start trying.

“So, when were you thinking we’d get married?”

She narrowed her eyes at him. “Wait. What?”

“I’m not getting you pregnant until we’re married.”

“Is that really how you’re going to ask me?”

Aw, shit.

He scoffed. “No, of course not.”

She raised her eyebrows at him. “That’s good.”

I guess I have some planning to do.

Epilogue

Utah

She was still in the walk-in closet of the master bedroom after changing into the red negligee she’d bought to surprise Liam for Valentine’s Day.

One of the first things he’d made her do after they negotiated the new terms of their relationship was have her move her things back into the closet.

The new terms weren’t all that different than what they’d been doing, except she didn’t officially have to be submissive to him unless they were naked. And let’s be real, she’d not been doing a very good of that anyway with her clothes on.

She missed wearing his collar every day though. It had made her feel like she belonged to him. She missed that feeling of contentment.

The sound of her phone ringing from the bedroom caused her to frown.

That better not be Liam!

Since it was Valentine’s Day, he’d promised he’d be home on-time, if not early.

Then she realized it was her normal ringtone and not the one she’d designated for him—Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”.
