I nod again. “Yeah. I did.” Boone squeezes me to his side and drops a kiss on my lips.

“Good. Now can we get a cup of coffee, woman?” Harlan asks, sounding irritable. Out of all of his brothers, Harlan is the most growly.

“Sure. But don’t think that this means you guys get the family discount,” I say, laughing at my own joke. I have yet to charge them for their coffee.

The sound of their disgruntled groans behind me makes my chest tight with emotion.

Contentedness fills me as I start to measure out coffee grounds. My eyes lock on to Boone—the man I love—standing with my family, in my shop and our town, all of my dreams in one spot.
