"Late for what? Where are we going?" I giggle.

"Somewhere with no destination in mind," he replies, looking me over with mischief.

I gasp as I recognize those words. "You read my bucket list?"

"You didn't exactly put it somewhere no one could find it."

"Oh my gosh. You read it."

"I did. So, let's do this. Let's start our honeymoon now. We get on my boat and sail away and see where we end up."

"That sounds amazing." It sounds so crazy wild and so like him. "But what about work? You just got your position."

"They'll have to do without me. We sail with the tide.”

With a wicked smile, he takes my hand and leads me away.

I can’t wait to go on this adventure with him.

Chapter 25

Luna

Iwake to the gentle sound of waves splashing against the boat. It's a pretty sound, like the tinkle of bells and the chirping of birds in the morning.

I open my eyes and stare through the circular windows of the cabin. The deep blue sea greets me, along with the radiant sunlight sparkling on the surface of the water.

It's beautiful and as picturesque as a screensaver. I have a couple at home that look similar, but this, it's real.

Hunter and I ended up in Bermuda.

Actual Bermuda.

It took us six days to get here and we spent two days indulging in the beautiful island. We left late last night to head to another island.

After we left the fundraiser, Hunter and I went home and did exactly what he said. We just got on the boat and sailed away.

Paige packed everything I needed for the trip, so all I needed to do was go with Hunter and sail with the tide.

This is one more thing I can cross off my bucket list.

The no destination in mind plan is to sail around the Caribbean and enjoy the lush paradise of each island until it's time to head back home.

I can't believe this is me or even us. Things have changed so much for us, and it feels like the only thing that exists in my world is my husband.

The thought of him has my body heating up all over again, wanting him, so I get off the bed, pull on a T-shirt and a pair of shorts, then I make my way up to the deck.

The wind picks up my hair the moment I’m outside, and the salty scent of the sea tickles my nose with a lure of adventure.

I head to the front of the boat. There, I find Hunter and he looks like he just stepped out of a fantasy.

Wearing nothing but a pair of ripped shorts, he has his muscles and tattoos on full display today. He hasn't shaved, so he sports that rugged look I like so much. And because we've been in the sun, he has a golden tan that makes him look like a god.

My footsteps on the wooden floor alert him to my presence, and he looks over at me smiling.

"Good morning. You are a most welcome sight, Mrs. Le Blanche. Come over here. Your husband misses you."

He holds out his arms and I skip right into them.
