Page 186 of Snaring Emberly

The patio door opens, and Emberly walks in, wearing a cream-colored sundress that hugs her curves. Nick’s eyes follow her as she approaches, and he rises off his feet like the gentleman he isn’t.

I also stand, drinking in her radiance.

“Roman,” she says. “I’m going out for coffee to discuss a new commission.”

Joy bubbles up from my chest at seeing her distracted from last night’s conversation. As I round the desk with the urge to pull her into a hug, I make a mental note to scrounge up an entire waitlist of customers to keep Emberly’s mind off Capello.

“Getting more work already, baby?” I ask.

She flashes me a sunny smile. “Maybe. I brought my digital portfolio. Do you mind if I show them the pictures I painted of you?”

I wrap an arm around her shoulders and plant a kiss on her soft lips. “Of course not. Knock them dead with your talent.”

Emberly kisses back and exits out through the patio door, where Tony follows behind her. As she walks around the house, the two of us exchange nods. Tony will grab someone else to accompany them to Beaumont City and keep an eye on Emberly while she speaks to her new client.

Less than three hours later, I’m enjoying a glass of chianti on the patio with Gil. The afternoon sun bathes the lawn in a warm glow, and a gentle breeze carries the mingled scents of juniper and flowers in bloom.

I’ve clawed back everything Capello stole and have gained the love of his daughter. If I’m lucky, she’ll give me something more precious than money—a child to bind us for life. I want to congratulate myself for launching her art career. Without giving her an opportunity to shine, I might never have noticed she was my perfect match.

Emberly rounds the corner with Tony. If I thought she looked radiant before, I was mistaken. She’s fucking glowing. Incandescent. I have never seen her look so alive. My love, my wife, the potential mother of my children, has never looked so powerful or so in control.

She’s beaming, and I can tell she’s secured a commission with her new client. I place my glass on the table and stand up with my arms outstretched.

“How did it go, baby?” I pull her into a hug.

She wraps her arms around my neck and presses her body into mine. My cock swells at the fullness of her tits, and I’m already imagining her carrying the next generation of Montesanos in her belly.

“It was a success. She loved your portraits.” She reaches down my back and cups my ass. “And she’s given me an idea for my next painting!”

“What is it?” I ask.

She draws back, her eyes shining. “Have you heard of Gulliver’s Travels?”

I cock my head to the side. “The man who went to the land of tiny people?”

“There’s a scene where Gulliver gets tied down to the ground by the Lilliputians,” she says with a nod. “I’m going to combine images of a perfect male specimen bound by all the plants I’ve been painting around the estate. It’s going to be a masterpiece.”

My heart swells with pride. “What a great idea. I’m sure it’s going to be stunning.”

She nods. “I have enough funds to hire one of the most beautiful male models in New Alderney?—”

“No.”

Emberly frowns. “What do you mean?”

“You don’t need a model.” I raise my chin and puff out my chest. “You have me.”

She licks her lips, her palms trailing down my pecs. “Are you sure? Some of the poses might be a little edgy…”

My breath catches. The first time I posed for her, she watched me jack off and refused my invitation to join me, even though she looked sorely tempted. I’m not missing the chance for Emberly to unleash all her raw passion and sexuality on me. This time, she won’t even try to hold back.

“When do we start?” I ask.

“There’s a special studio on the edge of town.” She gazes up at me through her lashes. “Can I direct you?”

If it’s as magical as Simon’s Pond, I can’t wait.
