A mixture of skepticism and curiosity swirls inside me, and while I try to resist it, I end up unable to do so. "Oh, really? So, what's the truth then? What is Grayson Walker like in a relationship?"

I can tell by the way he smirks at me, the satisfied gleam in his icy blue eyes, that my reaction is exactly what he had anticipated. "You'll just have to wait and see, won't you, Tyley?"

I pull up to Tyley's apartment building in my sleek black car, and while I know this is all part of the charade, I can't help but wonder what the night holds for me and for us.

Stepping out of the car, I watch her walk out the front door, and my breath catches in my throat. Hell, I've gone out with dozens of promotional models and God-only-knows how many aspiring actresses and the likes, but at this moment, they all pale in comparison with the woman before me.

"Your chariot awaits, my dear," I say smoothly, making my way around the car to open the door for her. She rolls her eyes, but a chuckle still escapes those full, red lips.

"You've got a flair for the dramatic, don't you?"

She's wearing a tight-fitting, velvet-red dress that hugs her curves in all the right places, and her blonde hair cascades down her shoulders in perfect waves. Those high heels do wonders to shape her long, toned legs, and I couldn't stop staring if I tried.

I shut her door and make my way around to the driver's side, settling into the plush leather seat.

"Damn, you clean up nice, Ty."

Her lips curl into a playful smirk as she adjusts her seatbelt, and my eyes drop to her breasts, perky and inviting. "I figured I should look my best if I'm going out for dinner with my first fake boyfriend."

I start the car and pull out onto the street, blending into the flow of traffic.

"You won't have any trouble convincing people I'm drooling over you, trust me."

As we drive through the city, I find myself stealing glances at Tyley from the corner of my eye. I feel tempted to rest my right hand on her knee, but something stops me. She's gorgeous, and I want her, there's no doubt about that, but some part of me warns me not to treat her like just another hot date.

We arrive at the restaurant, and I open the car door for Tyley, extending my hand to help her out. Lo and behold, as the valet accepts my keys, a dazzling number of snapshots blind us. Who could have possibly called these paparazzi, I wonder? I bet it starts with a T and ends with Ate.

Her skin is soft and enticing, and I brush my thumb over her palm as the hostess greets us. With its low lighting and soft music playing, it screams romance. We're led to a cozy corner booth, and though I usually would check out the hostess on general principle, this time, my eyes never leave Tyley's.

"So, Grayson, my darling love," she purrs in a mockery of a sultry whisper that makes me laugh out loud. "What's good here?"

I lean back and shoot her a smirk. "Well, babe, the steak is always a safe bet, but the seafood is pretty incredible too."

She frowns, shooting me an admonishing look. "Don't call me babe."

"Why not, babe?"

Tyley giggles, shaking her head with a mixture of annoyance and amusement, and I find myself adoring that sound. "Grayson!"

"Alright, alright," I raise my hands in defeat. "I'll be good."

"You better."

And, oh, the way she grins at me, the playful tone of her voice—it makes me want to try my luck all over again.

Much to my surprise, the conversation flows with effortless ease after placing our order. We jump from subject to subject without it feeling forced, and when I share one of my stories from my training sessions, she shoots me back with one of her own.

There's something about this girl. Maybe it's the way her blue eyes sparkle when she smiles or the confidence she carries. Whatever it is, I'm hooked.

After our food arrives and the server makes her way to another table, Tyley takes a small bite of her snapper, moaning out in delight. "Oh my god, this is amazing!"

I chuckle, pleased with her reaction. "Told you it was good."

Deep down, though, I can't help but wonder what her moans will sound like when we're in a different kind of setting entirely. Damn, the chemistry between us is undeniable; it's like sparks are flying between every word and every touch. Without giving it a second thought, I lean in and capture her lips with mine, catching her by surprise.
