Tyley leans into the kiss, and she might claim that it's all for show, but I'm not buying it. The taste of her lips is sweet and addictive, and I deepen the kiss, my tongue teasing hers. It's like a fire has been ignited in my loins, and all I want to do is pay the check and get her out of this place.

When we finally pull away, breathless and flushed, I see the desire in those blue eyes, the way her lips remain parted so invitingly. I'm about to tell her I want to take her home right this second when she clears her throat and straightens herself up.

"That was quite the performance, Grayson. Let's hope people enjoyed the show."

I raise an eyebrow, a smirk tugging at the corners of my lips. She's not going to make this easy for me, is she? That's alright; I love a good challenge. "Not more than I did, trust me."

She chuckles once more, and that little eye roll of hers is starting to turn me on in and of itself. Tyley is unapologetically sassy, and I'm here for it.

When we walk back out the door, my arm wrapped around her waist possessively, the paparazzi are still waiting outside, snapping pictures and calling out our names. Despite the chaos, Tyley doesn’t seem fazed. God, I adore the way she walks, with such confidence and grace, like she owns this place.

Once we're safely inside the car, she lets out a big sigh, relaxing her shoulders and closing her eyes.

"Tired?"

"Not really, just a little bit overwhelmed. I don't know how you deal with those guys, sticking their cameras in your face that way."

"You get used to it after a while. Don't worry, though; you looked like a million bucks out there."

As I begin driving away, I decide that trying to resist this urge to put my hand on her knee is hopeless, and my fingertips are met with the enticing silkiness of her skin.

"Did you have a good time?"

"Well, I wouldn't go that far, but I have to admit, you're not entirely unpleasant to be around."

I let out a mock gasp, shaking my head in an exaggerated gesture. "Not unpleasant? You wound me, Tyley. I am hurt to my very core."

She laughs a melodic sound that fills the car and warms the space between us.

"My offer still stands, you know," I add, and she shoots me a confused look. "To help you train. I liked what I saw at the gym the other day. You've got a good form."

Her smile softens, and for a moment, I'm certain she's going to say yes.

"I have to think about it, okay?"

She's keeping me on my tip-toes, isn't she? Alright, I can work with that. I'm getting a feeling Tyley is worth the effort and so much more.

Tyley

I thought I could handle this. I really did, but after four fake dates, it's beginning to feel an awful lot like the real thing. That's why I'm here, ringing the bell of Sarah's apartment, hoping to get some much-needed advice. Sarah's been my best friend since diapers, and if there's someone who can tell me the no-nonsense truth, it's her.

"Well, well, look what the cat dragged in," she says the instant she opens the door. We're the same age, but that's where the similarities end. She's got a wild mane of fiery red hair, and she's got as many tattoos as Grayson, if not more. And let's not even start with her piercings. She's the wild sort, unapologetically free the way only artists can be. In her case, her canvas is the human skin, and the only tattoo I have was done by her. "Come in, girl."

The walls are covered in colorful artwork, all samples of her creations, and the air smells like incense and charcoal. She handed me a beer, and we sat together on her well-worn couch, sipping at our drinks.

"So, how's the celebrity girlfriend doing?"

I groan, shaking my head at this question. "Don't call me that. I already feel bad enough about being such a fake."

"Don't be! It's high time you had some fun without thinking about the consequences."

"Well, that's the problem. I'm thinking about the consequences."

She raises an eyebrow and takes a swing from her beer can, grinning wide. "I bet you are. That's your problem, Ty; you never let yourself get out of that pretty little head of yours."

"It's not that simple."
