Page 66 of Knot Fit For Love

Dane growled, jerking himself off and coming all over Elias' face. He closed his eyes and opened his mouth, catching as much of it as possible and licking it up. It was hot and salty, with a hint of the fresh grass scent he was used to. If it wasn't so embarrassing, Elias would wipe the rest off with his fingers and lick that up, too.

He let his body fall to the bed, flopping into his own spend but not giving a fuck about it. Levi rubbed slow circles into his lower back while Ian left to grab a wet towel to clean up. He grinned and melted into the sheets.

His dick was done, no energy left in that department. Every few seconds, he tested Levi's thick knot. Despite all the alphas he'd been with, Elias never had such a sense of being stretched. It was fulfilling in the best way possible. Telling his omega that he was safe, cared for, and…uh…bred properly.

It was an archaic urge that rode him often. Elias made peace with it ages ago and chased those cravings until it damn near killed him. It was almost a bit too intense to achieve it now with all his alphas. His eyes welled, tears wavering on his lashes as he sniffled.

"What's wrong, Kitten?" Dane asked.

He was lying across the bed in front of Elias, one hand propping up his head while the other reached out to cup his cheek. The sweet gesture made him cry harder, a sob escaping his throat. They'd gotten through sex together without an incident!

What made these alphas different? Were they scent matched? He didn't feel it lock in at the first meeting, but perhaps his body differed from most. He had overactive pheromones and was taking a shit ton of meds.

"I-I'm not upset," he sobbed, shifting his hips again.

The knot was loosening, but would keep them pressed together for another minute. Elias relaxed again, rubbing his face into Dane's palm. The alpha wiped his tears, and just having them here was enough. He cried softly until Ian got back, separating Levi and him gently. Elias moved willingly, allowing Ian to clean him and embrace him tightly.

He ended up naked and curled in his Ian's lap, arms clutching him tightly around the middle. The others crowded around, all of them touching him. It sent waves of affection through his very soul, leaving him stewing in contentment.

His tears slowed until they stopped completely, leaving him wrung out. The tiredness from earlier caught back up, forcing his eyes closed. But before he fell asleep, he wanted to tell them why he'd been crying.

"I'm just so glad," he whispered, pressing his hand to Ian's chest. "So, so glad…"

Chapter Seventeen

Elias woke up wrapped in his nesting blankets, alone. His mind was less muddled now. The pheromones weren't affecting him as strongly as before. Elias could form coherent thoughts that weren't about sex, which was nice. Not that yesterday wasn't.

He enjoyed being shared and giving his alphas pleasure when they wanted it. Elias would do it again right now, but that wasn't the point. What he was really ecstatic about was their calm control. None of them freaked out when his pheromones hit the air, and while it wasn't his heat-induced mating scent, it was a start.

The idea of them being around for the long haul solidified the further they went. It was no longer impossible, which left Elias over the moon as he sat up, holding the blankets tightly around his body. They smelled strongly of his alphas, and it was divine.

Elias took a huge breath in and stood, dragging the blankets toward the cracked-open door and listening for signs of life. His curtains were closed, so he had no clue whether it was still nighttime. Last night was supposed to be a decompressing movie night before the big trip in the morning. Elias admitted to Ian that he was uneasy about meeting another pack.

Now all that worry was gone—banished by the scent and touch of his pack. Elias smiled and stepped out into the hall, padding toward the kitchen. There was no one in the living room when he entered, and it was still dark beyond the balcony doors. He slid them open and stepped outside to look up at the moon and stars. They weren't so bright here in Hamton, washed out by the city lighting system. It left the sky a murky purple. Elias leaned over the railing with a sigh of contentment, shifting his sore bottom back and forth, attempting to experience comfort.

Nothing worked, not that he thought it would, and it didn't matter much. He enjoyed the sensation. It was like a mark from his alpha. While he wasn't ready for the mating bites just yet, Elias' heat was coming up. It'd probably be here within the week, maybe even sooner, and then what would they do?

It was the ultimate test. Either they could be together or not. There were no ands, ifs, or buts about it. Not in his book, at least. He needed them to be aware of that before anything happened. Elias pushed up off the rail and turned back toward the living room, only to find Ian leaning in the doorway to the balcony, arms crossed over his chest.

Elias smiled at him. "Hey, what's up?"

"Nothing. I heard you get up and came to see how you're doing. Your eyes were all swollen when Dane tucked you into bed last night."

Elias rubbed at one of them subconsciously, glancing aside. "Well, that'll happen when you're overwhelmed."

"I thought you said you were glad."

"I was. It brought me joy seeing the three of you could endure my pheromones and each other in a sexual scenario. But there's still the matter of my heat, and it's—"

"Close," Ian finished for him, expression soft. "I notice these things."

Elias couldn't even muster the gall to be upset about that. Ian was weirdly observant. He'd been that way since they were kids. It wasn't even a doctor thing. Whenever Elias experienced distress, whether medical or otherwise, Ian was familiar with it. It's like he had him coded down to the letter. It was a miracle taking a few extra pills here and there was easy to conceal, otherwise Ian would've found out years ago.

"Did you time the trip for it?" Elias asked, narrowing his gaze.

Ian shook his hands back and forth in front of him while standing up to his full height. "No, of course not! Levi was the one to set it up. I don't even know the pack."

Elias took a step forward to drop his face into Ian's chest. His alpha wrapped him up in a tight hug, swaying them back and forth. The snug blankets and refreshing balcony breeze helped him unwind. His worries didn't fade with it, but this was enough.
