Ace blew out a breath and said, “Okay. Whew. Though I don’t think that really makes me a he?”
Kody cut him off with a hard kiss.
“It does,” he said against Ace’s lips.

It was nice, Kody knowing everything. His brothers wouldn’t be too happy with him giving away all their secrets, but he couldn’t not tell Kody. He needed to know the truth and he trusted him.
Kody was sitting on the couch when he walked into the living room. He was staring at the black screen of the TV.
“What’s wrong?”
Kody snapped his head up, looking a bit confused for a moment before his eyes cleared.
“Oh. Um… I’m just worried about Luna.”
“Luna?”
“The girl I was…” Kody trailed off.
“The one you think was trafficked?”
Kody’s eyes widened in surprise.
“How do you know that?”
“You told Mia in front of my brothers. Griff told me when he picked me up at the station.”
“Wait. You guys know Mia?”
Ace nodded. “She went to school with Jace.”
“Oh.”
Kody seemed to get lost in his thoughts, so Ace put a hand on his thigh and Kody sucked in a breath before looking up at Ace.
“She was kidnapped,” Kody said, and Ace’s heart hurt for that poor girl. Unfortunately, he saw too many girls like her in the job he and his club did for Vasiliev and the Kings.
“Her and a lot of other girls. Foster kids. They…” Kody released a shaky breath. “They put a fertilized egg in her. They got her pregnant.”
Ace almost felt bad that he wasn’t surprised. The Disciples had been doing what they did for a few years now and even in that short amount of time he’d seen so many fucked up things, and a baby factory wasn’t anything new to him.
“They were taking her somewhere to give birth and get rid of her,” Kody said.
“Somewhere in York?”
Kody shook his head. “She didn’t know.”
“That’s too bad,” he said, with a frustrated sigh.
Kody’s hand grabbing his had him turning his head to meet Kody’s gaze.
“There are other girls like her. Teenagers. Kidnapped and impregnated.”
“I know.”
Determination burned in Kody’s eyes.
