“Listen, if you don’t like what I have to say, then so be it. Only you can decide what’s right for you, but in my opinion, he’s not going to stop. It’s going to get worse.”
“Why? What’s his motive? I don’t understand.”
“Capri, in the past seven years have you see him with any woman twice? I know I sure as shit haven’t and neither has the world.”

“I think he’s been holding a torch for you and now that you’re his publicist, he’s… well, you know.”
“You know what I do know? I wouldn’t put it past him to have paid off the concierges to lie to his PA and say the hotel was booked solid just to get me in the same bedroom as him.”
“It’s not going to end anytime soon, so you may as well get used to it. You have a month with this man.”
I sighed. “You’re not listening to me.”
“I am. You’re just upset right now. Is that all that happened or are you not telling me something?”
“When I refused to sleep in this suite tonight, he threw me over his shoulder and one thing led to another and he fell on top of me on the bed after I accidentally kneed him in the balls.”
“Was it really an accident?”
“Ugh!” I choked out. “You’re unreal!”
“And you love me for it.”
I rolled my eyes at her although she couldn’t see me. “I don’t like you very much at all right now.”
“Can you just try to have fun for me? This is going to do amazing things for your career. Not to mention, he’s paying you the cost of my house if I put it up for sale right now. Can we take a second to appreciate that? You’re literally going to make more money than people make in year.”
“Whatever.” I shrugged. “He can afford it.”
“Maybe he thinks he’s paying for the complete package which includes a reach around. Plus, he’ll take you anywhere you want to go in the world at the drop of a dime.”
“So can my father.”
“Maybe you have daddy issues?”
“Are you my therapist now?”
