“Yes… yes… yes…”

“You want to come? I know you do.”

“Mmm…” she hummed.

“That’s not the right answer,” he reprimanded.

“I hate you…”

“No, you don’t.”

“This isn’t fair,” she whined, not wanting to surrender.

“Life isn’t fair.” He leaned forward and got close to my ear, sliding his lips and tongue down the side of my neck like he knew I loved. “I know you want to come… I know your tight little hole is just begging to be fucked.”

“Oh God,” I gasped, breathless.

He let me sway my hips a little bit, and he moved his fingers at the same time.

“Does that feel good? I know it does. But it’s not enough, is it? You want it harder and faster, don’t you?”

“Yesss…” I thought he was going to give me what I craved.

I should have known better.

He didn’t.

As soon as the SUV came to a complete stop, so did Elias.

“You can’t leave me like this.”

He kissed my lips before he muttered, “Watch me.”

With that, he set me beside him, and I actually whimpered from the loss of his touch, which was probably his intent all along. In a greedy stare with his eyes only on me, he licked his fingers clean.

Minutes later, we walked inside the bar after I pathetically gathered my bearings.

All of a sudden, everyone there yelled, “Surprise!”

I jumped, blown away by the fact that my parents, brothers, extended family, and best friend with her family were all there for what was obviously my birthday party.

“Oh my God,” I muttered to myself, and all I kept thinking was I hope to God Elias goes and washes his hand.

It was official—this man knew exactly his way back into my heart, and he wouldn’t stop until he succeeded in earning his spot in my soul. The day had finally come when my parents and he would come to a head. This would be the first time we were all together since before he moved to London.

I was beyond nervous about what this afternoon would bring. Fully aware of Elias's intentions, they were pure. He wanted my family in his life. He loved them as much as they loved him too. For four years, it felt like they had another son. I knew he missed them, probably in the same way I missed him.

Elias spared no expense, having it fully catered with some of my family’s favorites, and the atmosphere was perfect. After I hugged everyone hello from the corner of my eyes, I saw my mom and Elias next to each other, away from prying ears.

Except mine.

“Elias,” Mom announced, looking at him with so much affection.

He smiled, and she didn’t hesitate, opening her arms to hug him. They embraced with warmth and love, and it warmed my heart that my mother didn’t resent him for what happened between us. I knew she’d always be on my side if I needed her, but at that moment, she was able to separate the two.

I couldn’t believe he planned this party for me, fully aware of how important my loved ones were to me.

“Look how handsome you are,” Mom beamed. “I always knew you’d accomplish big things. I can’t tell you how proud I am of you.”
