Nope. I reply.

By the time I'm dressed, and my bedroom door is unlocked, Cash strolls into my room with a white towel tied securely around his waist.

"You okay over there?" Cash asks.

I put my sunglasses on in the backseat, annoyed. I haven't worn them much this summer. I used to wear them so I could stare at Ingrid without anyone noticing. Guess we're back to that. Quietly pining away for her from a distance.
"Thanks," Ingrid replies as she adjusts the tiny strap on her top.
"Is the air blowing cold enough for you?" Cash asks her.
"I'm fine," Ingrid assures him.
"You look beautiful," Cash tries again.
"I got it," Ingrid snaps.
"Sorry," he apologizes.
I watch as Ingrid's shoulders stiffen the moment Cash's fingers begin inching closer to her side of the cab.
"No," she forcefully mutters as her eyes dart from his hand to his face. "Don't touch me."
I can't hide the smile that spreads across my face.
My cell phone vibrates in my lap. I grab it and open the message from Ingrid.
