I look around him to see Chloe smush cookie batter into Dante’s mouth. He smiles at her and pretends to nibble her fingers. She giggles like it’s the first time he’s done this to her, like she doesn’t seek him out and smash whatever food she has in his mouth every day.

No noise is as sweet as the sound of her laugh.

Chloe came into the world, screaming and hollering for everyone to hear. With her dark auburn hair and bright blue eyes, she looks just like me. She has her daddies wrapped around her little finger, and she already knows it.

It’s hilarious and a little awe-inspiring to see her figure out which one of my husbands will give her what she wants. They all cave too easily, and for now, it’s adorable. We’ll see if we’re saying the same thing when she’s a teenager.

We’ve talked it through extensively when I was pregnant with her, and we revisited the conversation again a few weeks ago, but we decided that we’re not going to pull a paternity test on our children. I worried that they would change their minds when she came, but none of them ever have. They love her like she’s their own, and I love them all the more for it.

A few months after things settled down, we all flew back to Vegas, and I married each of my men under the watchful eyes of Elvis. We even invited my brothers—under strict stipulations, of course. The three of them agreed to everything Matteo demanded, and when Tommaso presented us with his wedding present—a hogtied Mario Amaro—I think they took a collective breath. Leo got the honor of revenge, and I opted to sip iced tea and read a book while I waited with Aries.

“How’re my boys today?” Aries runs his hand over my swollen belly from behind me.

I tip my head back, leaning it against the couch I’m lying on and stare at him. “Hello, husband. Where have you been off to today?”

He brushes his mouth against mine and sits next to me. “We needed more diapers.”

I smirk at him. “We did not. You already bought enough to fill an entire room.”

“Chloe went through an insane amount of diapers. I know my boys are going to beat her all-time record.” He stares at me in complete seriousness.

“I don’t even know what to say to that. And you have to stop calling the babies boys. What if they’re girls?”

“I just have a feeling. Besides, I want to be surprised,” he says, his hand still rubbing slow circles on my stomach.

“No way man, that oracle woman we passed on the street a couple months ago said they were girls.” Leo sits down on my other side. “Hey, baby girl,” he murmurs against my lips.

“Husband,” I murmur back. “And you know she’s not really a seer, right? She just saw us walking, and I’m very obviously pregnant.” I roll my eyes.

Dante brings our girl in on his shoulders, both of them now covered in flour too. “You okay, Maddie? You need anything?”

I smile at him and look around the room. There’s so much love here, sometimes, I have to pinch myself to make sure it’s real.

“I have everything I need right here.”
