“I love you too,” I say, and then pull him in for a kiss, reach down inside of my clothes, and start rubbing my clit like a mad woman on a mission. I swivel my hips and grind against my man like there’s no tomorrow. Ecstasy explodes through me as my pussy spasms around Levi’s cock, squeezing out his release.

“Fuck!” he cries out and empties himself into me with one last pump. Spent, he sweetly rolls us so I slump against his chest, and I raise up to kiss him.

“How’s that for getting your mind off of things?” I ask, resting my head on his chest. He chuckles and lazily plays with my hair.

“I’m definitely more relaxed than I’ve been since being here,” he admits. “Here, let me clean us up before we get too comfortable,” he mumbles, already drifting off to slumber. I shift, allowing his spent cock to slip out of me. With a whisper of his magical words to clean us up, we’re clean once again, and I snuggle into his body. He squeezes me once before his breaths deepen, and I kiss his pec before following shortly behind him.

CHAPTER 39

Portal to my Doom

Levi

The grumblings of Demons getting breakfast ready as they walk past wake me up. Finding Rez passed out on my chest brings a smile to my face as I think of the memories of our night. I don’t want to move or disturb her, but Lucifer did say we needed to get up early to figure stuff out.

“Hey, sweetie, we need to get up,” I say as I gently rouse her awake, picking up only calm emotions coming from her.

“Ugh. No,” she moans, and it’s the best sound in the world. I can picture myself waking up to her every morning. Even if her hair is wild and she might be drooling a bit. It’s because she does things like that, perfectly imperfect examples of real life that confirm she’s the one for me. She can be herself and I can be me, and we have no expectations of each other beyond that.

And we’re bonded, I remind myself in wonder. She bonded with me first. Not that it’s a competition between us as brothers, but I’m still honored and equally baffled that I could be so lucky to have her. I just know it’s the greatest thing that could have ever happened to me, to all of us. But would reminding her of our bond scare her right now? As special as it is to me, she didn’t ask for any of this, least of all ask to be bonded to me.

She came to me last night, though. She’s with me right now, so I push the intrusive thoughts aside and pull her a little closer.

“Come on. The servants just went by to make breakfast, so you know L.A.M.B. will be up and moving. Do you really want to answer why we are in here?” I tease. I’m sure they really wouldn’t mind, but Rez doesn’t know that, and the slight threat works.

She pops up with wide eyes and spins around to look at me. “Well, what are you waiting for?”

We quickly head back to our hallway when we see Trometh standing outside my doorway. For a split second, I suspect he may be listening at the door, but he’s already in the process of stepping away as my eyes drop to him, so I let it go. Besides, he’s supposed to be loyal to L.A.M.B. They wouldn’t have let him survive the house cleaning if he wasn’t. And L.A.M.B. wouldn’t spy on us, even if they are Demons. Not with the fact that we are the sons of Lilith, plus the revelation of JP and Moni’s paternity.

“Trometh,” I nod politely.

“Lord Lucifer wants to see you,” he says in greeting.

I give Rez a quick kiss before she steps into her room, and I walk down to my door.

“I’ll be right out,” I say before slipping into my room.

Ryker turns and glares in my direction as he grabs clothes out of the closet.

“I don’t like that asshole,” he comments.

“Me neither, but is there a particular reason why you don’t?” I ask, walking over to him and taking his place as he moves to the bathroom entrance.

“Yeah, the fucker woke me up in the middle of a great dream,” he grumbles.

“Yep, that’s reason enough,” I point out.

“Look, you would agree if you were dreaming about Rez and the purple monster woke you up. Instead, you were fortunate enough to be living it.” He cocks an eyebrow at me. “See ya at breakfast,” he says as he slips into the bathroom.

I think of a new suit, step in, and get dressed, making sure to put on the cufflinks Rez made, only to meet a pacing Trometh in the hallway.

“Took you long enough,” he grumbles before he scuffles down the hallway.

He leads me down a few passages I haven’t been down previously, before we come to a door and he stops.

“Lucifer’s office,” Trometh sneers, and turns to leave to do more of his boss’ bidding. I can’t help but smile as I think of what Rez would do. Kill them with kindness.

I knock on the door before calling out to thank Trometh, to which he grunts in response from down the hall and walks away. Picking up on his grumbles, he’s cussing me out.
