Still, he denied her satisfaction again as they partook in discussion with their fellow guests, but it did not last long. It seemed to Magnus as though, one by one, everyone in that room was undressing.
He turned his attention to Alexis, who returned the same look of lust. Deciding now was as good a time as any, he went to work on her neck and lips.
“There’s a room upstairs calling our names if you’re ready to receive what you’ve been patiently waiting for,” he growled. It took every ounce of restraint in him not to rip off her clothes there and then. His panther was hungry for his mate.
She retracted from his touch, much to his surprise.
“Magnus, I think I want to go outside first for some fresh air.”
His mind immediately flashed to the lake, the very same spot where they shared their bodies with each other on their first night together.
“I’d like that,” he told her. Without hesitation, he guided her out of the mansion, stepping foot into the gardens.
Along the way, they encountered more guests, each in various states of undress, but all of them engaged in their debauchery.
The sight of them only pushed at Magnus’s urge to fuck his girl senseless. His heart pumped so fast that he swore it would burst through his chest at any given moment.

“No,” he commanded. “The lake is where we’ll go.”
The moment was so close that Magnus could taste her pussy on his lips from the memory of it alone. It ignited him as he broke toward the lake. Alexis laughed with joy as she ran by his side, her hand gripped firmly in his.
The lake was now just a few meters ahead. Magnus turned around, walking backward as he pulled Alexis along.

Her laugh ended abruptly as a black shape lunged out from a nearby bush. Magnus was tackled to the ground, his head hitting the earth hard as Alexis’s scream rang out through the night air.

ALEXIS
With a wild scream, a panther appeared in the trees, leaping out at the two of them.
The hairs on the back of Alexis’s neck stood on end as the panther landed directly on top of Magnus. She screamed out his name, but Magnus was already shifting, clothes ripping as he slipped into his panther form.
As he was shifting, the other panther let out a blood-curdling scream, aiming his claws at Magnus’s face.
He seemed to underestimate Magnus’s agility, though, as Magnus shifted faster than the other could attack and threw the attacker off, coming around to attack from behind.
The smaller panther evaded the attack by jumping straight up into the air before landing on all fours near Magnus’s left flank.
The two of them turned to face each other and squared off, circling while keeping low to the ground. Alexis watched with a sick dread in her stomach, feeling helpless to stop the fight. She didn’t know if she should run away and hide or run to get help.
Her eyes were locked onto them as the smaller panther lunged forward, snapping his jaws at Magnus and barely missing his neck. Alexis screamed again, terrified for Magnus’s life.
But Magnus held his own, feinting an attack from the left before going right, jumping onto the other panther’s back. The smaller panther tried to shake him off, rolling side to side in a frenzy of motion, but Magnus held on tightly.
Their snarls echoed through the trees, high-pitched screams that chilled her to the bone.
“Magnus!” Alexis yelled, bringing her hands to her mouth as she looked on in horror.
