He lets out a low, rumbling growl that has my belly tightening and clit throbbing, and I swallow down a whimper.

“You wouldn't talk to us,” he says in a low, gravely voice. “So we came to you.”

“You really live here now?” I ask. I mean I know Chandler told us back at the coffee shop but I couldn’t believe it. They have a house, jobs, and a whole life back home.

“Yes,” Chandler says.

“And you work here now.”

“Yes,” Dane answers.

“Because you wanted to be close to me?”

“Yes,” they both answer at the same time.

My head spins and I close my eyes, taking in a deep breath. They are my alphas, my scent match. I’ve already decided I won’t be rejecting them because that wouldn’t do anyone any good and only cause unnecessary pain for everyone involved.

But I can’t ignore them forever.

Opening my eyes, I clear my throat, shifting from one foot to the other, trying to act as if I’m not feeling awkward and confused as hell right now. “Our internet isn’t working at the house. We’ve tried everything and even called the internet provider, but they said the internet is fine. It’s only our house.”

“It’s blocked,” Dane says, leaning back in his chair. Damn him for being so sexy. His black shirt stretches against his bulging muscles. He’s got a backward cap on making him look younger than he is, but the white and gray mixed into his beard says otherwise.

Annoyance grows within me. “So unblock it,” I grind out, staring him down as I cross my arms over my chest.

His lip twitches. “No.”

“I need the internet. I have schoolwork that needs to be done,” I huff.

He shrugs. “You can do that at the library.”

Narrowing my eyes, I suppress the growl building in my chest. “Why would I go all the way to the library when I could do it at home? Please, unblock it.”

“Why else do you need it Willow?” he asks, cocking his head to the side, giving me a knowing look.

My cheeks heat and my body flushes. “Nash has work too. So does Aubrey.”

“Try again,” he challenges.

He knows. Fucking hell, he already knows. Why does he want me to say it? Oh my god, has he been watching? Have they both?

My pussy clenches with need at the idea of the two of them watching me, getting off with each other to it. Them kissing, touching, fucking.

And now I’m perfuming like a bitch in heat. Damn it! I clear my throat and lift my chin. I have nothing to be ashamed about. This is my life and I can do whatever the hell I want with it. So I tell him the truth. “I have camming to do.”

He gives me a dark look, shifting in his seat so he’s leaning forward. Eyes locked on mine, he gives me a deadly serious look. “No. You don't.”

“Dane,” Chandler says in a warning tone. “We talked about this.” He looks between the two of us with an uneasy look. Like he’s freaking out that Dane is about to fuck things up even more between us all. And if he keeps going this way, he just might.

“Yes. I do and I will. This is my life, Dane. I’m an adult. This isn't gonna ever be a thing if you keep trying to control me. I make my own choices. I do what makes me happy as long as I’m not hurting anyone. My pack accepts it and still loves me, and still wants to be with me. They aren't trying to change a single thing about me. They are standing by my side and supporting me. And if you want a chance of things working out between the three of us, you're going to have to accept it too. Because I won’t allow you to come into my life and start making all these demands.” I’m out of breath and all worked up by the time I'm done.

Dane stares at me for a good long while. I stare back, eyes narrowed, chest heaving as I wait for his answer. “Fine,” he says.

My brows shoot up in surprise. “Fine, what?” I ask, not sure if I heard him right. This is Dane we’re talking about. Stubborn as hell. Where's the fighting and demanding?

“Agree to have dinner with me and Chandler. Come and talk with us, get to know us better. Let us show you why we should have a chance at being your alphas too, and I’ll turn your internet back on.” He huffs out a breath, saying this next part with reluctance. “Even for camming.”

My eyes narrow. This is too easy. “What else? I know that can’t be it. We might not know a whole ton about each other, but I know you well enough that you wouldn’t just agree so easily like this. Not without more of a fight.”
