He takes a deep breath and then lets out a low hum of a growl, making my body flush. “What's your name, Little Omega?”

I lick my lips and bite down a whimper. Hearing him call me that makes me want to get on my knees and beg him to do anything he wants to me. What the fuck is wrong with me?

“Willow,” I whisper.

“I better get going, Willow,” he purrs. “Get to Calling Wood safe. I hope I’ll be seeing you around.”

He reaches up and tucks some of my chestnut hair behind my ear. His touch lights me on fire, my core aching with need. I’ve been so people-deprived that this man is going to send me into an early heat.

The moment he steps away, I want to reach for him. He backs away, watching me for a few steps like he’s trying to commit every inch of me to memory before turning around and heading back toward his car.

As I watch him walk away, I realize two things. I never got his name and he said he would see me around. Does that mean he goes to Calling Wood too?

“Hey! You! Mr. Not-A-Murderer-Man!” I call out.

He pauses at his car door, hand on the handle, and looks over at me. I can hear his chuckle from all the way over here. I’m glad there's distance between us.

“Yes, Willow?” His eyes are covered by his fluffy black hair, but I can see a smile tipping his lips.

“What’s your name?”

“Nash.”

“Hey, Nash.” I grin. “You attend Calling Wood too?” He nods, but doesn’t say anything. “You got a pack?” His answer is hesitant, but he nods again. “Any chance your pack is part of the pack program?”

Still looking at me, he opens his car door and moves to get in.

“I guess you will just have to wait and see, now won’t you little omega?” he calls back, a sly grin on his face before he shuts the car door.

I stand and watch as he starts his car up and pulls away.

Well, fuck me, did that just happen? Once his car is gone, I shake myself out of the moment and close the trunk. I take a look at the shiny new tire before getting in the car.

When I start the car, I give myself a moment. A smile spreads across my lips. I have a feeling Nash isn’t someone I’m going to be able to get out of my head so easily.

I’m really hoping his pack is one I’ll be meeting with. If the rest of them are half as tempting as he is, I know I’m going to be fucked.

And he has a beta. I’ve never been with a woman before. I’ve had a few crushes back before I presented, but that's it.

I wonder what she’s like. What Ledger is like. Is he a beta like Aubrey or an alpha like Nash?

As I pull back onto the road, I find myself even more eager to get to Calling Wood, and start my new life for a completely new reason.

This school may just be the best thing that's ever happened to me.

Chapter Four

LEDGER

I’m sitting on the couch playing Mario Bros on the Nintendo while I wait for Nash and Aubrey to get home. Aubrey is off scouting out a new location for a photo shoot, so I don’t expect her for a while yet, but Nash should have been home by now.

Starting to get worried, I pause the game, grab my phone from the cushion next to me, and click over to our pack chat.

As soon as I type out a message asking where Nash is, the front door opens and his dark and dangerous body strolls into the house like he hasn’t caused me to worry. He shuts the door behind him, kicks off his black boots, and sets them nicely on the shoe rack by the door.

A fun fact about Nash; when you look at him you see dark, gothic, emo vibes which people assume means he’s messy or doesn’t give a fuck about anything. That’s not our Nash though. He is neat to a T, everything has a place, and he can’t stand a mess. I watch with a smirk as he tucks his boots on the shelf and straightens, finally noticing I’m watching him.

“We need to sign up for the omega program this year,” he tells me. It’s then I notice he looks flushed and his chest is rising and falling faster than normal.
