I wail into his neck. Feels so good to be stretched by him.

And in an instant, he snaps, releasing his load inside. “Augh! God!”

Knowing I did this to him, I wrecked him this way, pushes me to my orgasm.

I clutch his shoulders, slick with sweat, as a warm stampede of pleasure thrums up from my belly.

The sounds I’m making are inhuman.

But Edwin holds me all the same, cooing to me to keep going, to feel everything, to enjoy it.

I don’t care that I’ve been a little bad. Because I feel so goddamn good.

As we come down from our high, Edwin doesn’t let go of me. He nuzzles my neck and the sides of my face, desperate huffs from between his lips, as if he can’t get close enough.

I pull him closer, locking him in an embrace.

I’m not going anywhere.

“Stay tonight” It is not a demand. It is a plea. “I mean…would you?”

“Oh, Edwin…” I shouldn’t. He’s my boss. My ex’s father. I’ve lied. I’ve threatened his trust, and he doesn’t even know it yet.

But we are already in so deep. Our bodies have twined together several times. And our hearts…

It’s too late for me to stop this.

And why would I want to?

“Of course, I’ll stay.”

Edwin lets out a sigh. “Good. Good, I…I don’t want to be alone tonight.”

He slides his hand to my chest, catching my heartbeat in his palm. And for a long time, he considers my face before whispering, “I don’t deserve you.”

I want to echo what he’s said right back to him.

I don’t deserve any of this when I’ve been so dishonest. But I can’t stop.

“Don’t be silly.” I take his face in my hands. “Now, take me to your bed.”

Edwin gets a second wind, throws me over his shoulder, and carries me through the beautiful penthouse to his bedroom.

EDWIN

It’s her.“You wanted to see me?”

Her silhouette in the doorway of my office is enough to make me faint. The same one that I spied as she snuck out of my bedroom early this morning. The one I wanted to call out for but didn’t have the courage to.

Though she didn’t spend the night in her own bed, she looks as well rested as can be.

Skin glowing, hair shining, pinned back in its usual updo.

Oh, thank god, she’s smiling. I wasn’t sure if I had done something wrong when I woke up without her in bed beside me.

“Yes, I did.” I clear my throat. “Close the door, would you?”
