“You were doing it with the Blizz suit on?” Izzy squeaks out the question I was thinking.
Only I wouldn’t have used the phrasedoing it.
Natalie—the girl with the expensive clothes and dark hair pulled back into a perfect ponytail—nods. Confirming she had sex with Luke in the locker room while stuck in the motherfucking Blizz costume.
Steph is trying so hard not to laugh, and I’m afraid she might throw up.
I scoot my chair a few inches away from her.
“Jackson feels terrible, by the way,” Katelyn says to Natalie. “And he wants you to know he didn’t see anything, you know, that he shouldn’t have. He really thought it was the Blizz dude in the costume.”
“Wait, did Jackson walk in on you?” Steph grips the table like she might tip over.
Natalie hugs the little Blizz to her chest, probably for support. “He did. And he wasmad.”
“Like Kiss Cam mad?” Izzy asks.
Natalie gives a little frown. “I don’t know what that means.”
Katelyn waves the question off. “He was mad because he thought Luke was cheating on you.”
Natalie chuckles. “Yeah, that was apparent. Especially when he shouted at Luke topull out of Blizz.”
That one gets me, and I lose my battle against laughter as Steph almost falls out of her chair.
Izzy is blushing, but I see the gleam in her eye. She’s as intrigued as the rest of us.
“Question.” I hold up my hand.
“Yes, Meghan?” Katelyn calls on me.
“You said you were stuck in the suit,” I ask, and Natalie slides the yeti higher over her mouth like she’s going to hide behind it. “Did you put it on just for sex?”
“Meghan,” Izzy whisper-hisses.
“What?” I hiss back.
“It’s a fair question.” Natalie lets out a big breath. “I did not.”
“Then why…?” I let my question linger.
Natalie glances around the table before her green eyes move back to me. “I was Blizz the whole time. Like, the whole game.”
