Lizzy wanted to explore her craving for kink, and I couldn’t deny her this request, especially when I had access to a safe and comfortable space like Violent Delights.

“No,” I shook my head. “If you recall, the Doms of this club did nothing for me. That’s why you found me sitting at the bar the night we met.”

“Then who is your guest? Are you planning to scene with them here?” He clenched his jaw, making it dawn on me that he believed I brought another man here with me.

“I can’t believe you’re jealous,” I stated with a grin. “Why would I jump from your bed to someone else’s in less than a week?”

“I’m not jealous. I’m possessive. You knew this when I claimed you. Now answer the question.”

“Oh, okay, Mr. Pierce.” I shook my head while I laughed and slid my arms up his chest. “Fine, if you really want to know who I brought with me, I’ll tell you.”

He fisted my hair, tugging my head back. The bite of it sent a shiver down my spine and arousal pooling between my legs.

“I’m waiting.”

I licked my lips. “I came with Lizzy.”

“Lizzy? Why would you bring her here?” The confusion etched over his features was almost comical.

I lifted a brow. “The same reason I came here. To explore.”

“I see.”

“Do you?”

He shook his head. “No, honestly. I haven’t a clue what is going on between us.”

My heart clenched. For a man so sure of himself, I’d turned his world upside down.

“Remember when you promised to ruin me and make it so no other man would ever live up to you?”

“Yes.”

“Well, you accomplished your goal. You ruined me, Mr. Pierce. I only want you ever to touch me.”

“Do you understand what you’re saying, Sophia?”

I swallowed, thought of my conversation with Mom, and then said, “It is you who has to accept things. I was all in, and I thought you were too. Then you changed your mind, and you pulled back.”

“I never changed my mind about you.” Just as I was about to respond, he cut me off and continued, “But I hear you. There is no pulling back anymore or in any way. It’s my vow to you.”

My lips trembled for a second as I took in his words.

Nodding, I said, “Good. I need to get back to Lizzy. I’m sure she’s talked Tate’s ear off by now.”

“She’s not old enough to drink. Why is she at the bar?”

“I had to leave her somewhere when I learned a certain Dom decided to storm the castle.”

He frowned. “You’re having too much fun at my expense with this.”

“I am, aren’t I,” I grinned, pivoting in his arms and threading my fingers with his.

We entered the lounge and immediately noticed the attention of many patrons shift in our direction.

Ignoring their stares, we made our way to the bar. Lizzy’s eyes widened when she caught sight of Damon and me.

Tate said something to Lizzy, pulling her attention back to him and making her laugh before they began some back and forth banter.
