Her hips sway enticingly as she walks away and I swipe a hand over my face and adjust myself before she turns around. It’s hard not to smirk at the way she lifts an eyebrow at me. Her eyes flicker down my body and now she’s the one smirking.

“Good luck hiding that when Miss Eleanor comes up in a few seconds,” she says.

“What—”

She turns and leaves, and the next thing I know, Miss Eleanor is flying into my room, looking more frazzled than I have ever seen her.

“Are you okay, Judge?” she asks, her eyes trailing over the room until they’re back on me.

Fortunately, just seeing her running into the room cured my dick.

“I’m fine, Miss Eleanor. Are you?—”

She takes a deep breath and clutches her chest. “I must have misunderstood. I thought your guest said you were having heart trouble…”

That girl. I hold back my chuckle and lift my hands.

“She’s probably right, but as you can see, I’m fine.”

Her features shift back to primness, and she nods briskly.

“Miss Eleanor, I’m touched that you came to my aid so quickly.”

“I pride myself on being a conscientious employee,” she says, moving toward the door.

“You are certainly that, Miss Eleanor,” I call after her, her heels already clacking across the hall’s wood floors. “Extremely conscientious.”

When she’s gone, I sit at my desk and have a good laugh.

The level of anticipation I feel as I pull down my long driveway is ridiculous. I’m acting as if it’s been weeks since I’ve seen Felicity and not just a couple of hours. I’m excited to see my boy too, it really does feel like a long time since I’ve seen him, and it reminds me to call Tracy later. She hasn’t let me know exactly when she’s coming to town this weekend.

When I enter the back door, Felicity glances up from her laptop, surprise covering her features.

“Hey,” she says.

“You seem surprised that I’m here.”

She lifts her shoulder slightly. “I guess I didn’t really think it would happen—this is the first time you’ve been home this early.”

I tsk under my breath and walk until I’m right behind her, and then I bend to kiss her neck.

“I do what I say I’m going to do, sweetness.”

I feel her lips quirk up as I kiss closer to her face, and I smile against her skin.

“Is there time to finish what we started?” My hands wander down her neck and over her breasts, stopping to palm them.

“No,” she whispers.

“Damn.” I lower one hand and cup her between her legs, loving the way her head falls back with a sigh. “Come to my bed tonight,” I whisper.

She turns and tugs my hair until she has my mouth where she wants it, kissing me with such fire, I pull her out of the chair and back her into the wall. I lift her thigh and dip my fingers under the waistline of her pants, cursing when I feel how wet she is.

“Let’s have a sample of what’s to come,” I tell her, my fingers dipping over and into her most sensitive places.

Her head falls back and for a few minutes, I stare at her in wonder as she starts to tremble. Her cries do something to me—a rightness, a calm—as she detonates at my touch.

When she opens her eyes, I slowly pull my fingers up to her mouth and rub her lips until they’re glossy with her before kissing it off. Her eyes are glazed when we break apart, and I reach back and smack her backside before squeezing it.
