“A movie, one we have yet to have you watch,” I reply.

“Really, that’s all you're going to tell him?” Eli asks.

“You’re not going to get me to break my own rule, Eli. But nice try,” I tell him, snuggling back up to Lucien and trying not to let it get to me. This isn’t the night for it.

“How would he do that?” Jayce asks, turning around to get a better look at me.

“The title of the movie is the word I said we aren’t allowed to say, unless we want to buy shots,” I smirk at him.

“Ghost?” Lucien asks.

“Got you,” Jayce smiles at a confused Lucien.

“Looks like you are buying the first round,” I say to him.

He facepalms, but smiles before saying, “I guess someone had to.”

“Too right you are and we’re nearly there,” I tell him. “Let’s freshen up at the hotel and then get this party started.”

“It’s not already? How late do we plan on staying out?” Lucien asks. It takes everything in me not to laugh at that. I thrived on late nights before I met him, he’d slowly gotten us into a more ‘adult’ routine, but tonight, I don’t want to end it too early.

“Stop sounding like an old man,” Eli pipes in from the front seat.

He pulls the car under the awning and I jump out to get our room keys. The lady at the front desk is super fast and kind as she checks me in. She does raise her brow when I tell her I need four keys but doesn’t question me. When she hands them over, I thank her and return to my guys.

When I exit the front doors, I hold the keys up and say, “Let’s get this party started.”

All three of my guys smile at me. Jayce and Lucien get out and unload our bags as I round the car to Eli’s window at the same time he rolls down the glass.

“Suite 7D,” I tell him, handing over his key. “Do you want us to wait for you? We can all go up together.

“Nah, you three go freshen up. I’m just going to park there,” he says, pointing to the lot near the office.

“Good thinking,” I smile at him, before leaning in to give him a peck on the cheek.

I step back so he can park and join Lucien and Jayce as we head to the suite.

When we enter, Jayce gives a little whistle before saying, “Damn, Rav, this place is swanky. You really did splurge.”

I must have an uncomfortable look on my face because he starts to backpedal his words.

“Not that we don’t have the money, or deserve a night out…” his voice fades off when Lucien wraps an arm over my shoulder.

“I think what Jayce was meaning to say, is that you did well with this hotel,” he tells me. “It’s beautiful and the perfect way to relax.”

“Leave it to me, to put my foot in my mouth as we enter the hotel,” Jayce says, looking at the floor.

“I did tell you I splurged. If you’re this impressed with the lobby, don’t have a heart attack when you see the suite,” I joke with Jayce, bumping my hip into his. “Stop acting like we’re still broke college students.”

“That I can’t promise.” He smiles shyly at me as we enter the elevator and he hits the seven on the pad.

The doors slide closed and there is a little jolt as we start to rise.

“I don’t think I’ll ever get used to these things,” Lucien groans just a moment before the elevator dings and glides open.

“Suite D,” I tell them as we start down the hall.

We don’t stop until we are at the end and our suite lies before us. I swipe the key and it blinks green so we enter.
