“I love you, too.”

A rough rumble sounds beside me. I smile at Walker as he pulls me in close before lifting me, so we’re face to face. Then he brushes his lips over mine. “Marry me, marry us,” he whispers.

We’ve discussed it over the past two years. But decided that until a country allowed for omegas to marry every member of her pack, we wouldn’t do it.

“Europe has just passed a bill. From next month, packs can marry. Not just the King Alpha.”

The audience yells, “Say yes.”

Gabe and Jake wrap their arms around each other and Walker, enveloping me inside my alphas.

I laugh. For a moment, I forget we’re still on a stage in front of all these people.

“I’m waiting,” Ava says on the screen. A massive smile appears on her face. “They make you sparkle, Ella. They make you shine.”

I love Walker, Gabe and Jake. I love this pack.

There can only be one answer. “When?”

Epilogue Two

Two months later

It’s been two months since I received the awards and accepted my pack’s marriage proposal and now we’re back in Majorca after the whole of Europe passed a law that finally allows omega’s to marry not only the King Alpha of her pack but every pack mate.

Ava carefully smooths out the folds of my wedding dress, her fingers delicately working on the intricate lace details.

“I wish our sisters were here,” I say softly as I look at myself in the mirror, I can’t help but feel a pang of longing for my sisters, who are not here to watch how omegas should be paired with their packs. .

The excitement of the day is tinged with wistfulness for their presence. But as Ava nods, I take comfort in the fact that they are all with me in spirit, sharing this special moment in their own way.

“You only need the best one.” She grins. “And do you really think that man will let our sisters out of his sight? Life is probably worse for them since you escaped.”

“I hate him.”

“Me too. He has no right to call himself a father or stepfather.”

I sigh. “I wonder where Layla is,” I say. The words churn my gut as I think about the life each of our sisters has waiting for them. The packs he will choose for them.

At least, our father would’ve helped us with our choices.

My heart drops as I stare out of the window at the aqua blue water as I think of my dad. I swallow back the lump in my throat. Losing my dad was hard, and harder now I’m getting married, and the man who I adored with all my heart won’t be there for me.

“Are you okay?” Ava asks.

“I just miss him … dad.”

She wraps her arms around me and holds me. “Me too. It hurts more than I could ever have imagined. But he’d be so proud of you.”

“I’m marrying his best friend. A man who is forty years old.”

“Who cares?”

I laugh. Her words break me out of my melancholy.

I think of the times Walker and Dad were together. “What do you think Dad would’ve thought about me with Walker?”

“Because of the age gap?” Ava checks.
