“More, love,” he murmured, his breath warm as his lips traced my neck. “I need more.”

“You, please. Fillian, I... Someone… Just fuck me,” I gasped. Begging was no longer beneath me. All thoughts of preserving my dignity fled the moment the honey touched my lips.

Lucien sighed against me, satisfied. A tremble ran through our bond as amusement fluttered between us. “You just keep on teasing me, don’t you?”

He nipped at my skin, not enough to draw blood and complete the bite, though I could feel the urge within him grow stronger.

“Fillian, hard as you can now,” he growled.

Fillian used all his strength to push me, and I screamed. Lucien held me as sobs ripped through me, whispering to me how good I was, how well I was taking Fillian, how gorgeous I looked wrapped around Fil’s cock with my legs spread for him.

Until he left.

Until a cold shiver rushed over me, his firm grip vanishing from my thighs, the warmth of his breath suddenly absent in the heat of my need.

I cried out and tried to turn, reach for him, and bring him back to me. He sent love down our bond, reassuring me, but I needed him too much for it to help.

“Stay with me!” Fillian snarled the moment I became distracted, forcing me closer to bring me under his spell yet again. My body buzzed, demanding to be pleasured. Even the tension of Valko’s harsh stare ignited me.

Had my mind been intact, I would have berated myself for such weakness.

“Princess,” Fillian groaned against my lips. “Tell me your name. I want to know your name.”

I leant towards him as he drew his lips to mine. I wanted to hold his face, feel with my fingers the soft skin that pressed against my cheek as he thrust into me again.

“I cannot,” I groaned as I scattered kisses across Fillian’s cheeks.

He stopped, holding me against him, kissing my neck, supporting me as I writhed on him.

“I won’t tell anyone, I promise.” Fillian’s voice was so soft, so caring. How could he promise that with Lucien and Valko beside us?

I forgot my kingdom and my people in the madness the honey stirred up. I simply needed Fillian to move. And for Lucien to return to me, and for Valko to hold me and tell me the truth in his heart that he hid so terribly. If that only took my name, the one that must remain a secret lest another vampire have power over me, then I would give it, as long as Fillian stayed inside me.

I bowed my head, pressing into his shoulder, panting, whining. My fangs sunk into him. His blood pooled over my lips as I tried to resist, blocking my tongue from revealing my name. It grounded me, but it was not enough.

He shuddered at the pain, but this time, he was expecting it. I felt his moan through his skin before he opened his mouth. “Princess…”

I retracted my fangs, anguish creasing my brow, burying my face into his other shoulder, knowing I was going to give in. Yet it would come at a price.

“I want to see your face,” I whispered quietly, praying the others could not hear.

“I’ll do it, I promise. I just…let me call your name.”

I sobbed, both of us so overtaken by the potion that our souls entwined. He poured all his love into me and, with Lucien’s bond still strong, I could not resist this magic. My lessons had never prepared me for this. I had no defence against this love, or the honey that compelled me.

I lifted my head, nudging his ear with my nose, his hair soft against me as I pushed it aside.

“Ruby,” I whispered. “Call me Ruby.”

He gasped and shuddered, rewarding me by lifting my hips, forcing me back down onto him so hard that my eyes rolled into the back of my head and stars showered me. I cried out desperately, reaching for him, reaching for his lips. I could hear my name on the tip of his tongue.

My name brought me back to my senses, but only enough for a brief flash of sanity before Fillian wrapped his arms around my back and pulled me tight. “I love you,” he said as he thrust into me again.

I groaned against him, coming instantly, fierce lightning flashing through me at those simple words. The knowledge of his love was too painful. The deeper I fell, the further I broke open. They trapped me in the world of pleasure that the honey had conjured.

“You…” I panted against his lips. “You cannot.”

“I’ll never lie to you, princess.”
