One of his hands left my back, dancing up my chest, my neck, cupping my jaw and bringing me closer to kiss me. He pressed into me, the tender lips such a contrast to his hard cock.

Another growl rumbled through Fillian. Something was happening. I could not tell what, until I heard the crash of Valko’s feet on the hard floor as he jumped towards us, snarling.

But it was too late.

Fillian’s hand fed up to my ear. In one swift movement, he ripped the blindfold from my eyes.

We all froze, tension bursting as fear and joy collided.

A gasp rang from one of us as colour slowly bloomed around me. I blinked, my sight returning, catching greys of the walls and the bright orange fire of the torches mounted to them in the giant cavern, the kitchen, the spread of rugs on the floor, the plants on every surface. A bookcase propped up against the wall in front of me displayed carved figurines amongst the thick volumes. Hewn chairs, a deep fireplace, stacks of wood. So many things I had missed, all because they kept me blind.

Fil squeezed me, and I looked down, his breath caught in his throat as he took mine away.

Then it was Fillian, only Fillian.

My chin lowered as I met him. Everything fell into place as his gorgeous blue eyes connected with mine. His soft cheeks, covered with a light layer of brown freckles, lit up with a smile. Blonde curls fell around his baby face, firm hands covering me, the thick muscles of his body supporting me as the flush of his cheeks deepened.

I fell into him, here to love him, protect him as my own. I opened my mouth to speak.

“You -” I gave a startled cry as he pulled me closer and brought me down to his lips. This kiss was more intimate, filled with the genuine love I had pushed away. Another crack echoed inside me, and he consumed me.

It was the same, the same as Lucien. I was falling, but this time Fillian’s love surrounded me. He was soft, so gentle and caring - our bond deepening as my resistance caved and I surrendered to everything he had been trying to give me since he first entered me.

“I love you, princess.” He kissed my lips, my cheeks, any place he could reach, while the storm of fury that was Valko swelled beside us.

“Oh dear, Valko.” I heard Lucien step closer behind me, his amusement threading through us. “What are you going to do now?”

I lifted my head, breaking our kiss to meet Valko’s eyes. The world contracted again, as I moaned, my breath stolen. Not from the fear of darkness that surrounded him, but from seeing him again in a new light.

The glow of the cave was so soft, reaching up to the towering ceiling, higher than the largest banquet hall in the Carnelian Palace. The light breeze and warmth that had only ever brushed my skin grew in context as the waterfall of vines behind Valko opened up the cave, bringing new beauty to the room.

I never had a chance to see how truly breath-taking Valko was when I removed my blindfold in the dark dungeon. A wall of hard muscle, heavy set shoulders, thick arms and thighs. His russet hair fell beyond his ears, his beard short, reminding me of the warriors of the Emerald Isles.

The instant our eyes met, he dropped his gaze, turning away from me, shunning me. I tried to hide my heartbreak, but Fillian and Lucien could feel it. I could no longer hide from them, at least not now.

Fillian reached for me again, his soft fingers against my chin, turning me back to him. “I’m here,” he said. “I’m all you need. I’ll love you enough for all of us.”

I so desperately wished I could see Lucien when he returned to my back, his skin hot against me. All I knew was a whisper of his long black hair falling over my shoulder, as well as the tanned skin of his fingers that gripped my upper arms, using his hold to thrust me down onto Fillian yet again.

Lucien’s lips covered the back of my neck, trailing across my shoulder, before he notched his chin on my neck.

“I think she’s ready.” His purr vibrated through me, sending tingles down my spine. I was so aware of how his cock had left my tailbone, settling between my ass cheeks. “What do you say, Valko?”

I looked to Valko again, still panting and needy, yet he continued to push me away. Another slice of pain fed through me before Lucien nuzzled his cheek against mine. “Just focus on us, Red.” It was the softest he had ever been with me.

“Hold her, Fil.” Lucien’s warmth left me for the briefest second, but time stretched too long when the honey drove me mad. I needed to be touched. I needed to be smothered and filled.

Fillian dragged my hips to his, taking my weight and slamming his mouth on mine again. He was as crazed as I was, the slick potion consuming us both. His tongue worked mine, his moans shattering my soul as I scratched my fingers across his neck.

“Ruby.” He broke the kiss to shudder, and I copied his needy whine, the one I had come to love so much. My name had been revealed. It should have scared me, but all I felt was bliss. “Ruby,” he gasped. “Ruby.”

It was heaven. His name falling from my lips as I kissed his beautiful face, loving him, dissolving into him.

“I love it when you scratch me,” he groaned as my nails sunk deeper. “It’s like you’re marking me as yours.”

And I was. He was mine as I was his. I sobbed, so overcome with need that my heart melted as I watched his charming eyes shutter closed with pleasure. The bond was so strong, strengthened by Lucien’s connection. Another piece fell away, another stone in my wall of resistance as the three of us flowed into each other, marked only by the quivering dark cloud of Valko, who grew weaker by the second.

Lucien traced kisses down my spine, growing further away from me, but closer still. I felt him kneel on the floor, the dull thud of glass against the hard earth telling me the honey was still close by.
