“No, my plan was to finish the movie first, but fuck it.” I slapped her ass and she cried out.

“That was for the potty mouth. Consider it your payment this time.” I undid the buttons that ran down the front of her dress and exposed her breasts. I’d known she wasn’t wearing a bra, and if I had my way, she could walk around all day without one on. She started moving her hips, riding me, and I watched her movements in awe. Her hands on my chest, fingers curled, digging into my flesh, as she spasmed around me was too much. Her tight core almost strangling me as she sank back down.

I exploded as she collapsed on me, her breathing coming in pants. A rogue spasm rocketed through her and she tightened around me again. Turning her head, she placed a kiss over my heart, and I felt her smile.

“Guess we missed the movie.” Her little giggle made me laugh and tighten my hold on her. “Is there any way I can pay the swear jar in spankings from now on?” She smiled sweetly and bit the corner of her bottom lip.

“As long as Cooper isn’t around, your payment can be a spanking, yes.” I let my hands rest on her hips and enjoyed the view in front of me. She moved off of me and reached for the blanket in the basket beside my chair. “Well, what’s the next movie you don’t want to watch?”

CHAPTER TWENTY-THREE

NORA

I’d woken up to Kipp trailing kisses down my body, being totally pleasured before even getting out of bed. Standing here in the kitchen even after all the hours of the day, I could still feel his touch, him possessing me, and my body ached to have him again. “You’ve got an hour before we're going out,” Kipp commanded, walking into the kitchen.

“What are you talking about?” I asked as I rinsed my hands at the sink.

“We’re going out, so get ready.”

“Are you going to tell me where?” I took the towel Kipp was holding and dried my hands. Good thing I hadn’t gotten too far into making supper.

“The Fencepost. Saturday night a bunch of people get together. I think we should go.”

“Have you gone lately?”

“Nope.”

“So, why now?” Crossing my arms, I waited for his answer.

“Going alone was always depressing, but now I have someone to go with.” He moved to me and put his arms around my waist. “So, what do you say, wanna go out on a real date?” He let his hands fall to cup my ass.

“I’d hate for you to be depressed, so we better go.” I rolled up on my tip-toes and kissed him. Every time he was near me I wanted to kiss him. It was something that was going to have to stop when Cooper and the guys came home. Nobody wants to see people who can’t keep their hands off one another.

I didn’t have time to shower and do my hair, so I quickly curled it and searched through my dresses. Everything I owned was old, I was sure I would look out of place but I didn’t care. Grabbing something, I slipped it on. Looking at myself in the mirror, I didn’t hate what I saw, which, for once, was a good thing. When I unzipped my neglected makeup bag, I was sure moths would fly out of it, but I was safe. It had been ages since I’d worn makeup and as I put it on, I fell back into a familiarity with myself I’d missed. Smiling at what I saw in the mirror, I shook out the curls. It was like I hadn’t stopped being that rodeo queen. My eyes were the same, I had a few more years under my belt but I could still look drop dead gorgeous when I wanted to. I turned off the light and headed out to find Kipp.

My date was standing in the kitchen, his crisp white shirt almost gleaming, starched Wranglers hugging his legs so perfectly. I wanted him to turn around to see his tight ass on display in those jeans. “I’m ready,” I said softer than I’d intended but he looked up and his mouth dropped open. “Oh, is this not good?” I smoothed the dress down and tucked my hair behind my ear.

He strode over to me, untucked my hair, and wrapped his arms around me. “Would you be mad if we stayed in? I don’t think I want any other man looking at you.” He lowered his head and our soft, flirty kisses had changed into hot, demanding, needy ones. He moved his hand to the back of my head and pressed his mouth tighter to mine. When Kipp finally pulled away, I looked into his eyes and they were so wild with lust I thought his gaze would melt me. “Let’s go.” He smiled, wrapping his arm around my shoulders.

I walked to the truck and he shook his head. “No this way.” I followed him, slightly confused, but he opened the shop door and turned the light on. A black, shiny, pristine truck was parked inside. “I might not let Cooper eat a doughnut in this one.” He grinned as he opened the door. The truck still smelled new, the leather seats felt like butter, and I was officially in way over my head.

“You would. You’re a pushover, Kipp Miller. That boy has you wrapped around his finger.” I laughed and he put his hand on my thigh.

“He’s not the only person who has me wrapped around their finger.” He moved his hand away and closed the door. Momentarily, I was in the truck alone and I let out a sigh, this was way more than I expected out of this situation, and I silently prayed that it wouldn't end badly but something gnawed at me. Shaking the thought from my head, I needed to just enjoy what was happening.

Our drive seemed to take no time at all. Kipp expertly parked in the full parking lot. He opened my door and helped me get out. Slipping his hand into mine, we walked into the bar. All eyes turned toward us and I wanted to crawl into a hole. I slipped slightly behind Kipp and moved closer to him.

“Oh, my God, you’re here.” I knew that voice and my nerves calmed by a minuscule amount. Turning, I saw Kristin waving. Kipp gripped my hand tighter and we headed to the table. Kristin was on Lincoln’s lap and they looked cozy. She’d neglected to mention that last time we’d had coffee.

Kipp pulled out a chair for me and then sat beside me as close as he could. “What do you want to drink?” he whispered in my ear.

“Just a beer, I think,” I said, leaning into him.

“Linc, come on, let’s get some drinks.” The guys got up and Kristin slid over beside me.

“You slept with him,” she whispered. I tried to avoid eye contact but I could feel my cheeks getting warm. Kristin grabbed my arm and dragged me to the bathroom. She checked every stall and locked the bathroom door, so nobody else could get in.

“Spill.”
