He pulled me into his lap. "You are everything to me."

He held me tight. "I will always keep you safe."
"I know."
I laid my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. It was the most soothing sound I'd ever heard. I felt safe and protected. I knew that no one would ever hurt me again. I was home.

If anyone had told me a year ago that I'd be strolling across the campus of an Ivy League University on my way to class, I would have thought they were crazy. But here I was, a student at one of the most prestigious universities in the country.
I couldn't help but smile as I walked. This was all because of Wolf. He had given me the confidence and the financial backing to pursue my dreams. I didn't need to work. I didn't need to worry about money. I could focus on my studies and occasionally gather intel for Wolf. That's why I'd chosen to study Computer Engineering. I wanted to help Wolf and Fox. It turned out I had a knack for hacking. I hurried to my car throwing my red Hermes backpack onto the seat. I wanted to get home before Wolf left.
I looked down at the sparkling diamond four-carat diamond and matching band on my left hand and smiled. Wolf and I married a week after he saved me.I was officially Mrs. Harrington. It was a simple wedding. Fox was Wolf's best man and Angel was mine, even if he thought I was crazy. He didn't know the half.
As I opened the door to the penthouse, Wolf walked into the living room, dressed in a black suit, looking just as sexy as he did the day he walked into Eclipse. He immediately pulled me into his arms, his lips capturing mine in a passionate kiss. My body melted against him as his tongue explored my mouth, igniting a familiar fire within me.
After what felt like an eternity of kissing, we finally pulled apart, both breathing heavily. "I going to miss you," Wolf murmured, pressing his forehead against mine.
"You won't have time to miss me. You'll be too busy helping Fox with the Black Heart Bacchanalia."
"Nothing in the world could stop me from missing you."
"I know," I smiled. "But we have the rest of our lives together."
"True. And we have an eternity."
He kissed me again, and I sighed, savoring the feeling of his lips on mine.
We stood there for a few moments, our bodies intertwined, neither of us wanting to let go.
"Okay," Wolf finally said, releasing me and taking a step back. "I have to go. I'm scheduled to take off in less than an hour."
"I know," I reached out to straighten his tie. "You look good."
"I love you, Jasmine."
"I love you too, Wolf."
I watched as he walked out the door, knowing that he was mine forever.
