“Look at me. I want you to watch what you do to me.” His hand worked furiously on his hard dick while my gaze switched from his erection to his eyes and back. “I’m going to cover you in my cum, and I want you to see how fucking hard I come for you.”

As soon as the words were out of his mouth, Matt stilled, and a second later, hot cum was shooting from his cock onto my back.

“Fuck.” He hissed, pulsing in pleasure and staining me in him.

Matt’s eyes fluttered closed, a big, shiny smile spreading those sexy lips before he opened them again to assess his handiwork on my skin. With the palm of his hand, he smudged his cum all over my lower back before letting his index finger trace something I couldn’t make out.

“Wife,” he replied, answering the question that was written on my face since I hadn’t spoken the words. “I hope I’ve rubbed that deep enough into your skin that it will reach your bones and never be questioned again.”

I stared at him, a warm, intense feeling spreading in my chest. A feeling that scared me too much, which made me need to disarm the situation right then and there.

“Hair pulling, huh?” I teased. Matt’s eyes widened, a hint of uncertainty crossing his features.

“Did I hurt you?”

“No, not at all. I… I actually enjoyed that.” I said with a smirk, easing his discomfort and making him smile back. “What else are you hiding, Mr. Battaglia?”

“I guess you’ll have to wait and find out.”

“It’s a date then.”

“For now, let's just take care of you,” he said, grabbing the shower gel and slowly massaging my sore muscles. He washed and scrubbed every inch of my body, making me relax under his touch.

Making sweet love was good from time to time, but real intimacy came with sharing. Sharing your preferences, discovering new ones, and practicing to perfection.

I skimmed the top draw of my dresser with my fingers. I had kept the unopened note there, waiting for Matt to get home so we could address this threat together. It was the last thing on my mind after what happened, but I needed to tell him anyway.

“I got another note earlier today.” My voice was small, almost wishing that I didn’t have to say those words right when we were both just coming down from cloud nine. “I haven’t opened it yet. Max brought it up with the mail, and before you go after him, I coaxed him into letting me break the news to you.”

I opened the drawer and pulled out the small white envelope, handing it to Matt.

“Fuck. They know where we live. There’s no doubt they’re keeping tabs on you.”

“Yeah, that crossed my mind, too. Open it. What does it say?” I watched as Matt fiddled with the envelope, checking for the symbol before he read it out loud.

“Soon. It won’t be long now, my Baby.”

“My Baby?” I asked, not masking the revulsion in my words. “What the hell does that even mean? Who could be coming for me?”

Just like with the Mafia, a threat from the Yakuza was not to be taken lightly. But I couldn’t figure out what on earth they could ever want with me.

“We're doing everything in our power to figure out where this is coming from,” Matt said, walking around the bed before taking my face in his hands and forcing me to look deep into his eyes. “You’re safe with me. I’ll guard you with my damn life, no questions asked. Do you understand?”

Matt tried to reassure me, but I wasn’t scared. I was frustrated. Having to live with this constant weight looming over us was getting old.

“Do you think this is related to… you know… what I saw in your office?”

“I’m almost sure it is. It happened the same day you got the first note. There’s no way it’s just a coincidence. This is far beyond business. Both the notes and the way they tried to set me up seems too personal. Someone that calls you my baby. Who can that be? Can you think of anyone–”

Matt’s ringing phone cut off his trail of thought. He picked it up as soon as he saw the caller ID.

“Liam? Any good news?” Matt asked, putting the phone on speaker.

“We caught Gio. Meet us at the club.”
