That evening, we departed on the Bellerophon for the return trip to Providence. We didn’t mind having the backup chef on board; the dinner he cooked was still phenomenal.

“Are you sad to leave the island for the final time?” I asked as we stood on the sun deck, watching the lights from the mansion dwindle in the distance.

“A little,” Pierce admitted. “It doesn’t have to be the last time, though. We can come visit whenever we want.”

“But your mansion will be filled with undergraduates,” I pointed out.

He shrugged. “That’s what will make the visit fun. Seeing the island put to good use. That’s more satisfying than laying around the pool drinking wine all day.”

“Ehh, I’m going to disagree with you there. Drinking wine by the pool all day is extremely satisfying.”

He put his arm around me. “Good thing I have a floating mansion that can go anywhere in the world, huh?”

“I suppose this little boat is a suitable replacement.”

“Little boat? Take that back.”

“Uh oh.” I turned to face my lover. “Sensitive about the size, are we?”

“This thing is massive,” he said in a husky voice. “I don’t think you can handle just how big it is.”

“I’m not impressed,” I replied.

“Challenge accepted.” He took my glass of wine and put it on a nearby table. Then he held my hand and led me deeper into the yacht, passing the lounge where Andrew and Tristan were playing a game of chess.

“I need your help with Melinda,” he said to them without slowing down.

A thrill ran up my spine. “You need their help doing what with me?”

“You’ll see.”

When we got to his bedroom, Pierce kissed me fiercely. His tongue danced with mine, tasting of the expensive red wine we’d had with dinner. Then he shoved me down onto the bed.

But instead of taking me, he went over to the desk.

“What are you doing?” I asked.

“You’ll see,” he repeated.

I thought he was going to retrieve something from one of the drawers, but he was fumbling around behind the desk. When he turned around, he was holding a long laptop cord.

“Ohh, are you going to show me some spreadsheets on your laptop?” I asked. “Nothing turns me on more than Microsoft Excel.”

He gave me a wicked grin. “In half an hour, you’re going to be begging to come.”

Pierce grabbed my hands and wrapped the cord around them like rope. Then he shoved me sideways on the bed, yanked my wrists down toward my feet, and finished tying the cord around my ankles. I tried moving; I couldn’t.

A new thrill that I had never felt before filled my body. “What are you going to do to me?”

Pierce smiled. “Whatever. We. Want.”

Andrew and Tristan entered the room and closed the door behind them. Tristan was already untying his necktie. Andrew saw me on the bed and said, “I was wondering when we’d do this.”

“About time, if you ask me,” Tristan added.

My heart was racing, but in a good way. “This is something the three of you discussed?”

“We’ve talked a lot about all the ways we want to have you,” Andrew replied as he kicked off his shoes. “It’s a long list.”
