“I had a very sexy dream,” I said. Now that it was over, I was somewhat confused about my feelings.

“Did you? Was I as good in the dream as in real life?”

I hesitated. My first impulse was to lie to him. It felt wrong to have a sexy dream about someone else—two someones—while sleeping with another man. But up to this point, Pierce had been brutally honest with me. I still remembered the vulnerability it took to reveal what he had to me last night, admitting that he would be fine if another man were the one to impregnate me.

And deep down, I was still skeptical of that admission.

With all of that in mind, I gave him a long kiss and said: “Actually, you weren’t in the dream.”

Pierce blinked at me, then laughed. “Oh.”

I winced instinctively. “I’m sorry. Should I have not told you that?”

“I ask one thing of everyone in my life,” Pierce said. “Complete honesty. I’m glad you told me. It certainly doesn’t bother me. Who was in the dream? Alejandro?” He glanced at the clock. “He should be awake, baking the morning rolls.”

“Not Alejandro,” I said. “Andrew.”

To my immense shock, Pierce grinned. “Well then. That’s a surprise, but nothing you should feel guilty—”

“And Tristan,” I blurted out.

Pierce burst out laughing, the vibrations traveling up his hard length and into me. I playfully smacked his arm. “I can’t help what I dream!”

“You cannot,” he agreed.

“You’re the one who put the idea in my head!”

“I did,” he admitted, still chuckling. “I appreciate your honesty.”

“Well?” I demanded. “Are you jealous that I had a sex dream about your valet and personal assistant?”

“I told you: I don’t get jealous. I think it’s hot, actually.”

I knew he had told me this much last night, but I couldn’t help but feel surprised that he actually meant it.

“How do you feel about it?” Pierce asked gently.

“First of all, you can’t tell them,” I said. “Promise me.”

“I wouldn’t dream of it. Anything you tell me in here is for my ears only, unless you say otherwise.”

I nodded and examined my own emotions. “I’ve had random sex dreams about people in my life, of course.”

“We all do.”

“But I always felt guilty about them. That’s my main instinct here: to feel guilty about it, since I’m currently sleeping with you. But since you claim you’re not jealous…”

“A claim which is true.”

“…then I guess I liked it.” I shook my head. “No, there’s no ambiguity about it. The dream was hot. Do you want details?”

“Maybe later tonight, before bed. When we’re getting in the mood.” He kissed me again. “I enjoyed being woken up that way. Much better than my alarm.”

As if on cue, his phone alarm buzzed on the side table. The two of us giggled, and he threw me to the side and kissed me again before we began our day.
