“I love when you react to me doing it,” he said.

His hips were moving faster now.

Her breath was catching.

Her body was building up to let go of all the tension of the past week. She hadn’t realized how much she needed it until his moment.

“I’m so close,” she said.

His hand went from her nipple to between her legs, found her swollen bud and treated it the same way as he’d done up above. Pinching and then flicking at it.

It was as if that little bit of pain down there was all she needed before she felt herself coming and moaning, her head down and her fists just gripping the counter.

Lincoln started to move as if he went full throttle in an air race to outrun enemy fire.

She was coming before him and he was trying to catch up.

The minute he slammed into her and held her still, she knew he was done. She felt it inside of her and was always thrilled she could bring that out of him.

When he stepped back, she stood up, her back a little sore.

“Now I’m really hungry,” he said.

“God, I love you,” she said, her hand flying to her mouth. Where had those words come from? Too late to take them back. “Sorry.”

“Don’t be sorry,” he said, adjusting his shorts after he took care of the condom. “I’ve been waiting for you to catch up to me.”

“Really?” she asked. She knew her voice sounded as if she was insecure. She was when it came to this stuff.

“Really,” he said, kissing her on the forehead and pulling her in tight. It was a tender hug that was needed after what they’d just experienced.

She wanted to ask when he knew but then told herself it didn’t matter. Because if he asked her the same question, she’d have no answer.

She didn’t know when it happened, she just knew that she felt it and that was good enough.

SHE HAD HIM

“Are you ready for today?” Lincoln asked in the middle of the following week.

It was the third day of the competition. They’d arrived Sunday afternoon, had some time to check in and chill out. They explored the beach they were staying close by because Grace was relaxed by the sound of the water. He thought they could get some dinner and relax that night, but all the contestants had to gather and go over the rules and meet each other. He stayed in their room and watched TV.

Monday morning, all the contestants had to be at the studio by six a.m. Grace didn’t return to their hotel room until seven that night, all but dragging through the door.

He’d been shocked to see her so beat and asked what happened.

Since he’d signed the same paperwork as her, she’d told him that there had been two people eliminated and right now she was in the middle. The competition had been stiff, but she was fine with it working out the way it was. No target on her back and she wanted it that way.

Tuesday ended up being two more eliminations, another long day.

He was bored out of his mind, but did his best to keep her mind off of what was going on and in a good frame when they were together.

Though there were two eliminations on each day, they were actually shot for four episodes.

He would have given anything to be home and flying around the island. But he had to be here for the woman he loved and support her.

So far he hadn’t done much more than listen and give her some back rubs.
