Her eyes narrow. “I doubt it. Are you coming or not?”
Not yet. But I will be coming, firecracker. I will be. And so will you. As many times as you can handle.
“Stay there,” I order before jumping out and hurrying around to her side to open her door.
I palm her neck and draw her close. She bites her bottom lip as she stares at my mouth. It’s an invitation I can’t resist.
I groan as I lean down to meet her lips. I begin slowly – sipping from her lips. I wait until her hands clutch my shoulders before demanding she open for me. She opens with a sigh and I push my tongue into her mouth.
I moan as her taste assaults me. Her tongue darts out to duel with mine but I growl and take over. I fist my hand in her hair and tilt her head to my liking before diving deeper. I can’t get enough of her. I will never get enough of her. She moans and digs her fingernails into my shoulders.
I can’t wait until we’re naked and she’s digging into my skin. I want to feel her—
“Yoo! Fender!”
I pull away from Leia to glare at Gibson. He waves from our front porch next door.
“I’m going to kill him,” I grumble.
“I’ll buy the shovel,” Leia adds. Her lips are swollen and her hair is disheveled. It’s a good look on her. But I bet naked is a better one.
I throw her over my shoulder and she squeals. “Fender!”
I slap her ass as I shut the car door. “No squirming or I’ll drop you.”
“Big talker. You would never drop me.”
Good. I’m glad she realizes she can trust me to carry her. After tonight she’ll also know she can trust me to take care of her in the bedroom.
Leia reaches down to open the door and Gibson hollers, “You’re welcome!”
I scowl over at him and he points across the street to where Sage has her binoculars up to her eyes and pointed in our direction. She waves at me before giving me a thumbs-up.
I slam the door shut on both of them. In this house, it’s just Leia and me. No one else gets to intrude for the night. Not a gossip gal. Not my bandmates. Not the people of Winter Falls. No one.
“Bedroom?”
Leia motions toward the hallway. I carry her down it and into her room where I lay her on her bed.
“Is this the part where you ravish me?”
I cover her with my body. “Do you want me to ravish you?”
She rolls her eyes. “Duh. Why do you think I invited you inside?”
I drag my teeth along her neck until I reach the juncture with her shoulder and bite down. She moans and arches her back. At the feel of her chest against mine, I realize she’s wearing too many clothes.
I get to my knees and reach for the hem of her t-shirt. She slaps my hands away.
“Shouldn’t we close the curtains first?”
“The blinds will keep any peeping toms away.”
She squirms. “No. I know. I meant…” She bites her lip and looks away.
I clasp her chin. “What did you mean, firecracker?”
“It’s still light outside.”
