“You are to bathe the omega, and that is all. I don’t feel like untying any more knots today, do you understand?”
“Yes sir.”
I carry the omega down the dark cave tunnel. She doesn’t say a word to me the whole way, but her scent never stops talking to me. It’s telling me to do all those things my pack master just forbade.
After a few minutes of walking, the sound of rushing water can be heard in the distance. A few minutes after that, we are in the spring chamber. Like the rest of the cave, it is pitch black, but I’ve been down here with a torch once, so I know what it looks like. The water enters the chamber from a hole about fifteen feet up the wall, and pours down like rain into the knee-deep pool which flows away into an underground river. The water comes from a hot spring that has its source somewhere deep within the roots of the mountain, so it is warm all year round.
I lift Syra off my shoulder and set her down at the edge of the pool. She immediately starts to move toward the water, but I grab her arm to stop her.
“What are you doing?” she asks. “I thought you brought me here so I could bathe.”
“Be patient,” I tell her. “The bottom of the pool is slippery. I don’t want you to fall.”
I can practically hear her eyes roll.
“I won’t fall,” she says. “I’m a hunter. I’ve probably been hunting even longer than you have. I’ve got good balance.”
I can’t help but smile at that. If she tries using that kind of sass with Thorus, she’s going to earn herself a spanking, and it’s not going to be like that little love tap he gave her back in the graveyard. But he didn’t send me down here to discipline the omega. He sent me to bathe her, and that’s precisely what I intend to do.
I’m going to be very thorough about it too.
“Listen,” I say. “I’m sure you have incredible balance, but on the off chance you do slip and bang your head or something, I’m going to be in a shitload of trouble with Thorus, and I do not want to get on his bad side. So please, for my sake, just be patient.”
Syra sighs. “Fine.”
Good girl, I think to myself, but I don’t say it out loud. I know if I did, it would only rekindle her defiance. I let go of her arm, and I am pleased when she chooses to stay put while I make the preparations for her bath.
There is a natural alcove in the wall where Thorus and I store several lumps of tallow soap. There’s an old omega who makes the stuff for us, and every time we’re back in the Central Ruins, we pay her a visit and stock up. The stuff doesn’t have much of an odor to it, but it does a great job of washing away dirt and grime. I can’t wait to spread it all over Syra’s bare skin.
Exploring the shape of her body in the darkness is going to be a pleasure.
But I don’t reach for the soap right away. There’s something else I need to do first. Something I’ve been wanting to do for a few hours now. It has to do with my cock. The damn thing is hard as a rock, and the tight crotch of my loincloth is making it ache something awful.
I need to set it free.
CHAPTER 15: SYRA
Something rustles in the darkness, something light and soft falling to the natural stone floor. Normally I wouldn’t have been able to hear a sound like that over the sound of rushing water echoing through the cave, but right now my hearing is hyper sensitive thanks to my heat and the proximity of the alpha named Brik.
“What was that?” I ask.
“My loincloth,” Brik answers matter-of-factly.
A thrill of excitement spirals through me. Now we are both naked in the dark, me and this handsome young alpha with the hard muscles and sexy piercings. The omega in me wants to reach out and touch him, to feel if his body is as aroused as mine is, but I restrain that shameful urge. This alpha is a total stranger to me. True, he did help save me from the Farlanders, but beyond that, I know nothing about him. Nothing at all.
“Why did you take your loincloth off?” I ask, trying to hide the tremor in my voice.
Brik chuckles. “I don’t want to get it wet.”
“You’re not the one taking a bath,” I tell him. “I am.”
This time he doesn’t chuckle, but I can practically see him smirking in spite of the darkness.
“You heard what Thorus said. He very clearly commanded me to bathe you. And you already know how obedient I am when it comes to my pack master’s commands.”
I think back to a few minutes ago when we first arrived at the cave, and I made a comment about Brik asking Thorus’s permission to piss. I’m starting to wish I hadn’t said that.
“I’m not a child,” I say. “I can bathe myself.”
