Markus sets his jaw, but after another moment, he nods again.
“I understand,” he says. “And I trust you.”
“Good lad. Well then, I’d say it’s time for us to attend to our omega.”
I gesture across the room. Over the past few minutes, while I’ve been talking to the two younger alphas, I’ve been keeping an eye on Syra and what she’s been doing over there, but Markus and Brik have had their back to her this whole time. Now, as they turn and see the state she is in, their hard cocks jump with renewed arousal, and they both begin to purr with excitement.
The omega is presenting herself for mating.
CHAPTER 19: SYRA
“Little one, can you hear me?”
Thorus’s deep voice rouses me out of my dream. I wasn’t sleeping exactly. More like that strange twilight that exists at the very edge of consciousness, where the boundaries between reality and imagination get hazy.
In my waking dream, three monsters were with me. They were neither men nor beasts, but something halfway in between, their massive bodies lined with thick fur, their warm breath caressing my skin with heat.
Now, as I come fully awake, I realize the heat is real, and so is the fur.
The heat is from the feverish lust coursing through my body. The fur is from the animal skins I’m lying on top of, naked and soaked with sweat.
The monsters are real too, after a fashion. Three massive alphas standing at the foot of my nest, their cocks rigid with arousal, their eyes burning with a hunger that appears to rival my own. I follow the line of their gaze downward to my own body, and when I see what they’re looking at, it sends a jolt of surprise racing through me.
I am naked, but that is not the worst of it. My legs are spread wide, and the fingers of my right hand are spreading my labia so the alphas can see my entrance and the shameful quantities of fluid that are seeping out of my body. The air is redolent with the hot scent of my slick.
I quickly snap my legs shut and pull the furs over me, but it’s too late. The alphas have already seen everything. They have witnessed the depths of my desperation, and now only one question remains.
What are they going to do about it?
It is Thorus who takes the lead. He is the eldest of the three alphas, and the biggest, and he practically breathes authority. He still has his loincloth on, but it does little to conceal his massive erection. I can see the size and shape of him clearly, and it makes my pussy throb even harder with need. He kneels and looks approvingly at the furs gathered around my body.
“You have made a fine nest for yourself, omega.”
I’m not really sure how that happened. The last thing I remember clearly is Thorus telling me to put out the piece of wood that was burning the pile of animal skins—which I did using a waterskin. After that, I vaguely remember running my fingers through the thick fur, almost in a trance. Then, the next thing I knew I was waking up from my strange half-dream, the furs had been arranged into this circular nest…
And I was lying in the middle of it, spreading my legs for the alphas.
Thorus surveys my nest a moment longer, then his gaze returns to my face, and he gives me a stern look that sends shivers racing up and down my spine.
“You have been a bad omega,” he growls. “A very bad little omega, indeed.”
“What?” I sit up, still clutching the furs over my naked body. “What are you talking about?”
“Do I really need to list it all out for you, Syra? You ventured out into the wildlands all by yourself, knowing full well that you were going into heat. That was an incredibly dangerous thing to do…”
I want to tell him I’m an adult, and I can put my own life at risk if I want to, but he doesn’t allow me to get a word in edgewise.
“…Then you ventured into the graveyard of the ancestors, a forbidden area, and the consequences of that decision were most dire…”
I almost interrupt him to point out that was Markus’s idea, but I don’t want to rat out my friend like that.
“…And finally,” Thorus plows on, “just a few moments ago, you jumped into the middle of a fight between two enraged alphas. You’re lucky you didn’t get seriously injured.”
By this point, I’ve heard about as much as I can stand, and my head feels like it’s about to combust from all the rage that is welling up inside me.
“It wasn’t my fault Markus and Brik started fighting!”
Thorus quirks a pierced brow. “Wasn’t it?”
