I walk out of the galley and stop dead in my tracks, and my mouth pops open in shock, my eyes doing the same.

“Hey, shorty.” Trey says as he stands in front of me. What's he doing here? How did he know where I worked? “I kept wondering what your job was, so I’m glad that it’s got a sexy uniform.” He looks me up and down and then that sexy grin appears.

I wonder how many hearts he has broken with that smile?

Chapter 4

Trey

What are the chances that my flight to England has the girl I’m trying to get a date with working it?

When I’m around her, it’s like there's nothing else in the world but her. I’ve never been taken by a girl like this before. Her eyes are the sexiest I’ve ever seen, and they have a forest color to them that’s just breathtaking.

“Can I take your bag, Mr. King?” she asks and I can’t help but smile. “What?”

“Shorty, I can look after my bags. Would you like dinner with me?” I ask, repeating my question from the time at my house. She has to give up sooner or later, and I’m more than happy to play this chasing game.

“Would you like me to get you a drink?” she asks, ignoring me.

I glance at her name badge. “If You'll join me, Sky, I'd love a Coke,” I reply, giving her a wink. She walks away from me, and goes behind the curtain.

“And here I thought you were trying to get your dick in her pants, but now I don’t know so much,” Derek says as he puts his things away in the seat next to me. “Your mother will hate her.”

He’s not wrong—Ma won’t like her—but at this moment in time, that doesn’t concern me.

“How about I get one date with her first, then I'll worry about that?” I ask as I put my bag in the overhead storage. I can feel him staring at me. “Say what you want to say.”

“I’ve got nothing to say,” Derek replies, “but make sure you’re real before you introduce her to your family,”

I don’t say anything back to him. Not because he’s right, but what's there to say? If I can’t even get her to have coffee with me, why would I need to worry about what my family think?

“Your Coke, Mr. King.” After placing the glass on the tray, she turns to Derek and asks him what he'd like to drink.

“A beer, please,” he replies. I’m not surprised with that. She looks at the entrance and nods, and I watch as the friend appears, walking over to her.

“All the passengers for first-class are on board.” He looks over at me with a smile, then turns to Sky. “You take this side, I’ll take the other.”

They both stare at each other, having what looks to be a silent argument. I think it’s cute how the sides of Sky’s eyes crease up as she's giving her friend an evil look, and I have to press my lips together to stop myself from laughing.

“I’m just going to get Derek his drink,” Sky tells her friend, then walks away from him.

“Here's her number. You have a week to win her over. That’s the only help I’m giving you.” Calvin hands me a piece of paper. He says this is the only time he'll help me, but we both know it’s not. He likes me. I’m not sure why just yet, but I’m not going to ask, either.

Sky approaches us again, and I straighten in my seat. “Your beer.” She, places the beer on the tray in front of Derek. He turns his head and she leans toward him, I can hear him whispering something to her, but I can't make out what he’s saying. “Is this how he gets all the girls in his bed, by annoying them?” she asks him and then turns to me. “You might want to stop your friend—he’ll make you look desperate.”

“What the hell are you doing?” I ask him as Sky walks away from us.

“You just need to fuck her, then you can move on—”

“You need to stay out of it,” I snap. “I stay out of your love and sex life.” I lean back in my seat when the captain talks and we have to go through the whole safety crap. I know it’s done for a reason, but when you get on a plane as much as I do, I could do it better than most.

Sky stands at the front talking to Calvin. I can hear the odd thing they're talking about, something about not embarrassing her. Now this might just be a fun safety speech.

Sky turns around, gives me a quick look then back to everyone else. Yeah, I might just be able to break her on the flight.

I know that I had some effect on her yesterday, in the pool. Fuck, she had one on me. It was the first time I had to go to bed with a hard on and nobody to ease it. It wasn’t fun in the slightest.

“Hello, everyone. You all have the pleasure of listening to my voice for the next few minutes, so let’s get started,” Calvin says over the intercom. “If you don’t like us, or if anything was to go wrong, there are six ways for you to leave the aircraft. Two exits at the back, two at the front, and then two in the middle.” Sky laughs; she knows this routine like the back of her hand, I can tell. I turn and see Calvin doing something, but not sure what, as the curtain is pulled across. I look back at her, and she does not look happy. Calvin talks about the oxygen masks falling from above the passengers’ heads, then continues with the rest of his in-flight safety speech. “I hope that you've all been listening because there'll be a quiz for all of you. Only joking, only Sky gets the quiz. Don’t forget to fasten those belts—we don’t want to be losing you now, so make sure they are nice and tight. Not too tight—we aren’t that airline, are we, Sky? Well, unless a certain passenger likes it that way.” I can’t help but laugh as Sky’s cheeks turn beet red. She bites her lower lip as Calvin continues to tell us about the belt and how to release it. “We hope you enjoy your flight with us today. I'm Calvin, and this sexy lady is Sky. If you need anything, please let us know.”
