“Trey, you need to see something,” I hear Derek say. The asshole has the worst fucking timing.

“Be right there.” I look back at Sky and say, “Hey, shorty, do you want to kiss me?”

She pushes me away a little. “Now, if I answer that question, you'd have nothing to think about, would you?” she asks, then glances over my shoulder. “I think your food is served.” She tips her chin, letting me know that the other two have joined us again.

“This conversation isn’t over, and you have nowhere to hide, either.” I wink as I leave her to talk to her friends.

“So, you’re apparently dating the girl from the club,” Derek says as he turns the iPad to face me. “She's come out to say you spent the night with her.”

Great, another one to add to the list. I think I’ve supposedly slept with about fifty girls this month alone.

“Nothing we can do, but I'll call Ma when we land to tell her that it’s all bullshit,” I assure him while handing over the iPad.

I take my seat, ready to have food. While I wait, I take my phone out so that I can put shorty’s number in there.

I've seen little of Sky since our talk. There was a boy in economy that got sick, and as she’s one of the first-aiders on the plane, she had to go to that cabin to deal with it.

I hear Sky laughing with Calvin, letting me know that she's back in first class.

“Do we have to do something? It’s my birthday, and I want a wine night at home,” I hear her say.

It’s her birthday. This is even more perfect.

They walk back out with our last meal of the flight, and she walks over to Derek.

“So, what have we got planned for your birthday?” I ask.

It’s so strange that I don’t even know her, but I feel like I could talk to her all day. I'll be fucked if her personality is as hot as her body.

“We?” She turns around and raises an eyebrow.

“Hey, I think we can plan something amazing. When it is?” I ask.

She remains quiet, causing me look over at Calvin. “It’s in three weeks, and she’s refusing to let me plan anything,” Calvin answers for her.

“Well, I’m more than happy to plan something with you,” I tell Calvin.

I’m not the party planner—I get Derek to do it for me—but if this gets her talking, I'll do it.

“I’ve already planned it. It involves—”

“You and me, in Rome, having dinner and wine,” I say. Sky turns to face me and laughs. “Or, you and me in your bed or mine, and we can lick desert off each other.” She laughs a little more. That’s a cute laugh, and I can’t help but smile.

“My birthday involves me sitting on the couch, drinking wine, and watching Games of Thrones.” She places her hand on her hips, and smiles. “And my night doesn’t include you in it.”

“Does it involve any other guy?” I ask. If there’s a boyfriend or someone that she's interested in, then I know I’ll need to back off.

“Yeah, his name’s Calvin.” She looks over her shoulder at him and I laugh as he shakes his head.

“I’m not spending your birthday sitting on the couch—we’re going out.” Calvin points his finger at her. “And before you say anything, I’m planning it and that’s the end of it.”

“We'll see what happens, but did you see the trailer to that film I was telling you about?” Sky asks him. She obviously doesn’t want to talk about her birthday.

“The Queen one?” Calvin asks as I listen in, finding out want type of movies she likes.

“Yeah, I’m watching it this week. I mean, it’s Queen. You know it’ll be amazing.” The excitement in Sky’s voice has me interested in seeing which movie this is.
