No. Not yet. I want to take my time with him. I want him to feel every second of this moment. He takes my neck, pulling me closer for a kiss as I rock my hips.
“I said not to move, or I’ll stop.”
He smiles. “You and I both know that you’re not going to stop. And I don’t fucking want you to.”
“You feel, okay?”
“Fuck, yes.”
I pick up my pace, thrusting in and out as our bodies come alive with each other, his hard length pressing against my stomach. Sweat covers our skin as my orgasm starts to tingle its way through my body, pooling in my lower stomach.
“Wade, I need to come.” He takes his dick in his hand and begins to stroke it, bringing himself to the edge. I’m also there, chasing my climax as he grabs my ass cheek in his hand.
“Come for me, Ash… Come for me.”
As my orgasm fills him, ropes of white cover his stomach and my name leaves his lips in a harsh, sexy growl.
Crashing my mouth to his, I kiss him with a depth I know drives him crazy. The hold he has on my jaw says a thousand words and he wraps his arms and legs tight around me, securing me in his solid grip.
My heart is so full right now it’s fit to burst. I don’t think this man realizes just how much he means to me even after everything I have said. There hasn’t been a day go by when I’ve doubted him, even in his darkest hours. He is my life. He is my saving grace and my moonlight in a sky full of stars. We’ve both come so far in this journey, and I don’t regret any of it for a second because deep down, I’ve always known that Asher is the only person who can change my life and he’s done that and so much more. I promise I will stand by his side for all eternity no matter who tries to bring us down. Because I love this man wholeheartedly.
CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX
Asher
“Dance with me?” Wade says with the biggest grin on his face, swinging his hips as his arms link my neck. We are in Hot Tuna celebrating his birthday, and Grayson has very kindly cornered off the small dance floor for the private function. Mom and Nora move to the music, Ava sitting on Nora’s hip with the biggest grin on her chubby little face, and then there’s Makenna trying to stop herself from shoving her tongue into Ryan’s mouth.
However, Wade is the one getting all my attention.
“I don’t dance.”
“Not even for my birthday?”
I screw my face up. “Well…”
“Come on. Just one. Then I promise I will leave you alone.”
“I’d rather you didn’t.” I smile, placing my hands on his ass and pulling him closer.
It’s been three months since the argument that changed everything for the better and three months of living with each other. I hate that I hurt him, but I’d been so consumed by the need to protect him, I hadn’t been able to see what was right in front of me.
In some ways, I believe it was meant to be because our relationship is now stronger than ever. We haven’t seen or heard from Raymond since, which doesn’t surprise either of us, but Wade has informed me that that doesn’t mean it’ll be the last of him. But next time, I’ll be ready.
“You are either extremely happy or drunk. Which is it?” I ask.
“I’ve only been drinking lemonade, so I can only be drunk on love.”
It’s not gone unnoticed that since we’ve been together, Wade hasn’t had one drink. I’ve told him he doesn’t have to change his ways just because of me, but if anything, it makes me love him more because he has.
“Is that so?”
“Mmm hmm.” He leans in for a kiss, and we continue to sway to the music that is anything but slow. “When is it home time?”
“Why? Are you getting tired now that you’re a year older?” I chuckle.
“No. I just want you all to myself.” He kisses me once more. “So, I can kiss you. And touch you and love you like I’ve wanted to ever since you fucked me in the shower this morning.”
I grin, remembering back to this morning. “We can go soon. But before you love me as you want, I need to give you your birthday present.”
