I laugh as my alpha loses his mind. “Please excuse him. Our other three kids are girls.”
“I’m sure,” the doctor says.
“Liam, sit down,” Matthew says, pulling at Liam’s shirt.
Liam sits, his expression stunned.
“He’s hardly my first eager dad,” the doctor says kindly. “I sent the pictures to the printer. I’ll give you all a moment. Kathleen, you can make your next appointment with the girls at the desk on your way out.” He drops the probe on a hook and leaves.
Gabriel wipes the jelly off my belly with a tissue and pulls my shirt down over my abdomen. “We should give Liam a minute so he doesn’t faint.”
I look at my deliriously happy alpha, my pack, and the ultrasound screen with baby number four on it, and I think about how this all started with one small clerical error on some paperwork.
That was one hell of a meet-cute. Maybe I should put it in my next book.
