Leon lifted my hips to the very tip of Tobias, so I could get the very last inch of Crowe into my mouth. I sank his cock past my tonsils, surpassing the depth of any possible gag reflex, then I caught his eye deviously as I took him an inch pastthat.

His surprise was fucking satisfying. You don’t get ahead in Hollywood if you can’t suck a dick, and I’d perfected the art. I lightly dragged my teeth along his shaft as he withdrew, also dragging a low, guttural moan from his chest. One more time, and I watched him snap. He fisted my hair on both sides, and he tightened down as he drew closer and closer to climax.

Crowe fucked my mouth roughly. Each thrust shoved me harder onto Leon and Tobias, and their thrusts shoved me deeper on Crowe, and the combined pleasure of all of them had my eyes watering. I dug my fingers into Tobias’ shoulders beneath me, when Crowe filled my mouth with a hard grunt.

Despite my best techniques, the sudden and unexpected force of it made me choke. He pulled out under the vibrations of my wind pipe coughing for air, then he crouched down, covered my mouth, and roughly dug his fingertips into my cheeks. He stared into my watering eyes, while I shook those small coughs into his hand.

Crowe’s gaze narrowed. “Swallow it, Dorothy.”

He seemed to savor the surprise on my face as he pressed into my cheeks more roughly. I wouldn’t disappoint him. I kept his come on my tongue as I gathered myself, then I made a show of swallowing, noting the way he watched my neck bob with such intense interest. He’d filled me from both sides, and something about that made me feel both defiled and shamefully aroused at the same time.

He eased off the grip on my mouth, then he pulled my lips to his for one more kiss. “You’re the best fucking girl.” He whispered, and I whimpered.

With one last quick peck, Crowe made his exit. He zipped up and waved goodbye, as if this had been the most casual encounter in the world. I was barely able to watch him go through the blurred vision of my soul leaving my body under the perfect pressure on my g-spot, my clit, and in my ass.

I collapsed on Tobias’ chest, and we breathed in time until our exhales were slow and calm. I was wet, ragged, used, dripping, and satisfied.

Sex was way fucking better in Oz.

Sleep came quick and it came hard, washing away the worries that had plagued me at least for the night. It wasn’t until I got up for some water, late in the night, that I found myself alone with Crowe again in the Emerald Castle’s oversized kitchen.

“Hey.” I said. I smiled meekly when he approached me, always feeling a touch self-conscious after a session with everyone.

Crowe said nothing in response. He stepped into my personal bubble, swept me into his arms, and he kissed me as hard as his supernatural strength let him. My cup fell form my hand, shattered at my feet, and water splashed on my legs.

“You’re beautiful, Dorothy.” He said as he kissed me again. “So fucking beautiful, it drives me mad. And as long as you’re mine, no matter how much you change, you always fucking will be. Do you understand?”

I blinked rapidly, enjoying the compliment and even his possessiveness, but knowing it wasn’t true left a pang in my chest. I’d never thought myself disadvantaged for being human until I was surrounded by magic, and now I almost wished I’d spared the wicked witches so they could curse me too. “You say that now, but in fifty years, I won’t look the same. I might not even live that long. I’ll age, and I’ll die, and I’ll barely be a speck in your eternal journey.” That doubt and sadness crept up in my gut again. As much as I liked him, Crowe’s company had a way of reminding me of my mortality.

He laughed, unusually light and sweet, then he kissed me again, and locked me into a hug. This kind of affection was such a treat from someone ordinarily incapable of it. “That’s the point you’re missing, Dorothy.” The tender way he stroked my hair was so uncharacteristically loving, it made me blush. “The Devil’s Queen won’t ever die. You may age, or you may not, but you will never, ever die.”

“What do you mean?” Always so cryptic. I needed answers.

“Exactly what I said.” He pulled back then he shook a hand through his thick and wild black hair. “In a thousand years, when your heart still beats and your body heals at will, you might finally understand just how very much the same we truly are now that we’ve been one. Maybe then you’ll figure out exactly what it means to be mine.”

He stepped back and turned on his heel, while I was left trying to process the bomb he’d just dropped on me.Wait, had he…

Had he made me immortal like him somehow? Suddenly I understood—the need to fill me, the need to make me swallow, the need to make me his.

“Why?” I asked through a shaky voice that was more out of confused yet pleasant surprise, and less out of nerves or anxiety.

He shrugged. “Because you asked me to.”

“Yes, but…” I paused. I’d been wanting to ask this for a minute, but now felt like the right time. “Why. Why would you do that for me, when you don’t love me? When youcan’tlove me. Wouldn’t it be advantageous for you if I died? You could have the shoes, you could be free of all curses, and you could have anything you wanted.”

Crowe lifted his chin, placing him above me with the subtlest gesture. Then he grinned wide, bearing those sharp teeth with pride. “I realized this back in Sasha’s castle.” He began. “I was so worried, as you wore those shoes, that you would become Grunhilda. That I was simply going to trade one evil witch for another. I thought I wouldn’t care if you died, so long as I got what I wanted first.

Then Sasha put a knife to your neck. I realized in that moment she was going to snuff out your existence for good…”

He stopped himself and rubbed his neck, as if preparing for what he wanted to say next. “I’d had this unexplainable draw to protect you from the moment we met, but it wasn’t until that moment that I realized my curse didn’t mean I was incapable of emotions. It meant I simply couldn’t feel anything for anyone…exceptyou. The woman who wore the blood red shoes of the east was the only one who could tap into my heart, and the thought of someone other than my sweet girl wearing those shoes gutted me.”

“Crowe…”

“I love you, Dorothy. You’re the only person I can love, and the more time I spend with you, you’re the only person I want to love. I don’t want my emotions back, because I already have all the feelings I need.”

My throat constricted, and tears burned in my eyes. “I love you, too.” Those words slipped out involuntarily, but they were honest and true. I did love Crowe. In all of his trauma, his brokenness and his struggles, we were still somehow kindred spirits, and I’d known it for a long time.

I didn’t need Crowe to be fixed. I didn’t need any of my men to be anyone but who they’d shown me: battered, broken, and morally black. And thanks to this twisted, demonic, so-called monster, I’d be able to love them for an eternity.

How… How did I get so lucky?

I laughed through happy tears, and I shared with him a silent smile. And when I jumped into his arms for a twirling kiss, I tapped my ruby red heels together in quiet celebration.

There really is no place like Oz.
