He glanced at his watch to find it was close to one in the morning. He knew if he didn’t get them out of the club soon, they’d be stuck there because they locked up at two o’clock in the morning.

Eden moved against him when he went to sit up.

“Where are you going?” she asked.

“Nowhere without you, Pet. We’re going home, though. I want us to take a bath before we sleep. That sounds good, right?”

She nodded. “Yes. But I don’t think I can walk.”

“That’s okay. I was planning on carrying you,” he told her.

He picked her up in his arms and held her tightly against his chest as he walked through the club and out to his truck. He got her situated in her seat before driving them home.

When he got there, he carried her into the house and up to their room and started the water in the bathtub. He stripped them both before sinking into the hot water.

“How does this feel?” he asked her.

“So good.”

“It will help with any soreness.” He let them soak for a few minutes before washing every part of her. When he felt she was clean, he drained the tub, dried them off, and carried her to bed.

He situated her with her back against his chest and his arm around her waist.

“Thank you.”

She hummed and looked over her shoulder at him. “For what?”

“For being you and trusting me.”

She reached back and caressed his cheek. “Always. You’re my everything, Master.”

He cupped her face and kissed her sweetly a few times. “God, I fucking love you so much.”

“I love you, too. More than I ever thought I could.”

“I feel the same way. We have each other for the rest of our lives. We are going to have years and years to enjoy and love each other,” he said to her.

“I think we’ll be together for eternity,” she said and smiled.

Cain chuckled. “I agree. Even eternity won’t be enough for me.” He kissed her again. “Go to sleep, and I’ll be here to holdyou.”

Eden smirked at him. “I know.”

He laughed, closed his eyes, and felt sleep drag him down. There was no other place on earth where he felt this depth of contentment and thanked God for her every day.
