“Where are you?” Larson shouted in her ear. “Renna? Where is the ship? Do you have Myka?”
“I’m at Aldani’s labs. Please hurry.” She shut off the connection with her mind and then looked at the heavy pipes the mechanics had left behind.
“Might as well make it look convincing,” she said, picking it up and testing the weight in her hand.
At least knocking herself out would stop the pounding in her head for a while.
