I would be fine with it until the day I stopped being scared.
“We have years until that happens,” I said, voice breaking with a yawn. I hugged Matthew closer.
“What do you need, Nathan?”
My mouth twitched.
We still asked each other that question, and most of the time, our answers were the same.
I looked over at Jenna. “Right now?”
“Right now.”
Between us, our family dozed.
