After the photographs are taken, the boutonnière is tossed (Troy catches it), and the cake is cut, the party continues. Gina Capelli, who catered the event, has laid out a huge spread of hot appetizers. Most of the guests are staying overnight at the house, including Sam’s family. I’m looking forward to spending time with my new in-laws. I do find humor in the fact that I’m older than Sam’s mom.
I’m also looking forward to this evening. Sam and I will spend our first night together as a married couple here at the estate, and I’m counting the hours until I can cart him off to our room.
Around eight o’clock, the moms take all the kids upstairs to bed.
The bar starts serving liquor.
A high-end sound system pipes music into the room.
As the evening draws on, I’m feeling eager to steal my groom away from the crowd so I can finally have him all to myself.
I walk up behind Sam, who’s chatting with Erin and her new husband, Mack Donovan. I put my hands on Sam’s shoulders and lean in to whisper in his ear. “I need you in my bed.”
He turns to face me, his cheeks flushing as he grins. “Right now?”
“Yes, right now. That is, if you’re not too busy.”
“I’m never too busy for you.”
I take Sam’s hand in mine. “Goodnight, everyone! Thanks for coming. We’ll see you all at breakfast.”
As we climb the stairs, Sam says, “Everyone knows what we’re about to do.”
“Yes, they do.” When we reach the second floor hallway, I throw Sam over my shoulder.
“Danny!” he screeches, laughing so hard I’m afraid he might piss himself.
I open the door to our suite and carry him across the threshold. When I set him down beside the bed, I say, “Have you ever kissed a man?”
Sam grins. “Yes.”
“And did you like it?”
He nods. “Oh, yes.”
“Good. Then take your clothes off, right now.”
Chapter 37 – Sam
I melt when my husband tosses me over his shoulder and carries me into our room. My head is spinning, partly because I’m hanging upside down over Cooper’s shoulder, but also because our wedding far surpassed my wildest dreams. The speech Cooper made in front of the entire room before he slipped my wedding band on my finger broke my heart, and healed it at the same time.
Cooper cups my face and kisses me with so much hunger my knees go weak. He pushes my tuxedo jacket off my shoulders, and then he grips the neckline of my shirt and rips it open, sending buttons flying everywhere.
I burst into laughter. “Cooper! We’re renting that shirt!”
“I’ll pay for it. If you don’t get these clothes off fast, I’ll be doing a lot more than damaging your shirt.”
I can tell by the heated look on his face he’s serious. “Yes, sir,” I say with a grin as I release the last couple of buttons. I make short work of my belt and trousers. Apparently, I’m not moving fast enough, because Cooper pushes me back onto the bed, grasps the waistband of my trousers and underwear, and tugs them down my legs. He pauses long enough to pull off my shoes before he finishes undressing me.
In seconds, I’m lying naked on the bed, my dick fully erect, while he’s still dressed in his tux. It’s hot as hell.
Cooper kneels on the bed, crouching over me, his palms flat on the mattress, one on each side of my head. “I want you, Sam, and I’m not in the mood to be soft or gentle about it, unless that’s what you want. If you want roses and sweet words, tell me now. Otherwise—” He leans down and presses his open mouth to theside of my neck, alternately sucking and kissing me. “Otherwise, I’m going to fuck you hard.”
My pulse is racing as I tilt my head to give him better access. I get so turned on when he’s like this.Aggressive. Demanding.I melt like butter beneath his heated gaze. I lay my hands on his broad chest. “I don’t want soft or gentle. I wantyou.”
Cooper’s face is flushed, and his nostrils flare as he breathes heavily. He cups my face. “I love you, Sam. I meant it when I said I don’t deserve you, but now that I’ve got you, I’m never letting you go. I will love you to the best of my ability, and I’ll do everything I can to be a good husband and make you happy.”
