I straightened up and Levi unwound himself. I grabbed his hand and hauled him up until he was again seated on the edge of the counter. Gripping his chin in my hand, I pressed my lips to his, and when he shoved his tongue into my mouth, the knowledge he was tasting himself on my tongue was almost more than my still-very-aroused cock could handle.

“So,” Levi said, his chest heaving a little as his breathing came back to normal. “How was your…cake?”

I tugged him off the counter until he was standing and pulled him toward the shower. “Best fuckin’ chocolate cake I’ve ever eaten. I can’t wait to have more.”

“Greedy.”

I turned on the shower, and as the water heated, I brushed a kiss over his lips and said, “With you, I’m downright insatiable.”

Levi grinned and reached for my cock. “Charmer.”

I flashed him my most charming smile, and Levi chuckled as he gave me a firm stroke.

“But it won’t work with me. It’s my turn.” With a smirk on his full lips, Levi released me, and I whimpered. “Get in the shower, Killian. You’re not the only one who believes in having his cake and eating it too.”

“YO, ASSHOLE! OVER here!”

As I stepped out onto the terrace of the cafe Viper had told me to meet him at, I drank in the sight of the new city that greeted us—Brisbane. This was the final leg of the world tour, and tonight was our final show.

To say I was feeling good would be the understatement of the century. With Levi in my bed each night, his eyes on me whenever I hit the stage, the world I’d seen several times over had taken on a whole new dynamic this time around—one I knew I’d remember for years to come.

Tugging my baseball cap low across my forehead, I wove my way through the bustling tables and headed to where Viper was seated. Clearly not in a hurry to attract attention either, Viper had dressed much like myself—jeans, t-shirt, sunglasses, and a baseball cap.

“’Bout time you showed up,” Viper said, as he leaned back in his seat and kicked his long legs out in front of himself. “Thought I might have to send out a search party.”

“I’m not that fucking late.”

Viper looked at me over the top of his glasses. “Five minutes late is like an hour for you. Not that you’d be that difficult to find. These days you’re either in Levi’s suite or in Levi himself. Find him, find you. Really, you two need to step up your stealth game.”

I snorted and shot him the finger. “Like you did when it came to Halo? Sure. Like we didn’t all know you were…into him before you told us.”

Viper’s lips quirked at the sides. “Yeah, well, I wasn’t exactly trying to keep it a secret. The first song I wrote for him to sing was called ‘Hard.’ If you morons hadn’t worked it out from that, I’d have needed to go and invest in some Viagra for the lot of you.”

“Well, let me be the first to inform you that I am in no need of that.”

“Not now, you’re not. But for a while there I was starting to worry.” Viper picked up the menu and flicked it open. “You weren’t bringing anyone round, you were grumpier than a bear with a thorn in its paw, and honestly, the moon-eyed way you look at Levi makes even my ‘in love’ self want to gag.”

I knew Viper was probably right when it came to the way I looked at Levi. Hell, it was difficult to hide your feelings when what was causing them was always so close by. But if Levi caught wind that others around us could see just how hard I had fallen for him, he would more than likely pull back.

Sure, he’d told me he was okay with the rest of the guys knowing that we were together. But it wasn’t lost on me that neither of us had made the move to fill them in, and Viper hadn’t either. Instead, whenever the other band members were nearby, Levi made sure to keep his hands to himself, and an appropriate distance between the two of us.

He chalked that up to us being able to have a relationship and still be professional, but I knew there was much more to it than that. I had to tread carefully if I wanted this to go all the way, and with the horror story of Jonny never far from my mind, I knew I needed to change topics with Viper now before he had me saying shit I shouldn’t. Like just how badly I wanted the world to know that Levi was mine.

“So, new music. Let’s talk,” I said, after the two of us placed our orders. “That one you were working on, it still flowing for you?”
