“No. That’s not how that works.” Joe said. “And even if I was, maybe
you’d be worth it.”
“Fuck that’s hot.” Jacob said. “Can we at least try to go to hell once
before we get home? I know a great little gazebo around the corner that

“Everything is still. No one is moving.” Joe smiled. It was true.
Everyone else was standing like statues. The river wasn’t babbling. The
birds didn’t sing as they were frozen in midair. Even the children stopped
crying. Everything was completely frozen in the moment as if the universe
was giving them a perfect moment to live in forever.
