“Finished coming so we can open?” Liam asked. Parker glared at him. “Don’t snarl at me. I’ve seen the spank bank on your phone.”

Parker had to give him that, he did have several photos of Astrid on there. The best was a toss-up between the Halloween cheerleading outfit and the bikini shot in the snow.

Walking into the bar, he slid to a stop at seeing Astrid standing next to a table laughing with Andrea. He felt Liam slam into his back.

“Damn, bro, give some warning next time.”

“Oh good, you finished whatever you were doing so we can clock in,” Astrid said with a smirk as she walked past him. Did they all think he just sat in his office jerking off?

Walking over to the register, he slid the cash drawer inside before nodding to Ronan to open the door. Soon customers would start coming in and Parker could focus on running the bar instead of the siren standing in front of him.

Astrid had chosen to wear an incredibly short pair of shorts. Her shirt was tied in the front right under her breasts. Shaking his head, he made a mental note to revise the employee uniform options. Usually, he didn’t care what the servers wore. Now he had to work all night with a full-blown chub.

The “uniform” she chose was a hit. He only had to show his bat to one guy so far. They had just opened. As the night progressed, he heard no less than five guys sitting at the bar ask for her number. If her goal was to work him into a froth, she was doing a damn good job of it. She had made it physically impossible for him to keep his hands off of her every time she crossed behind the bar.

“Hey, Parker, I’m going to head home,” Andrea said, leaning over the bar. Parker looked at his watch. He was shocked to see it was time for last call. Where in the hell had the time gone? It probably was taken up by his fantasies. This shit needed to stop one way or the other.

“Parker,” she barked, bringing his attention back to her.

“Yeah, see you tomorrow.”

“Astrid has closing. You’ll behave, right? I don’t need to stay and chaperone?” she asked.

“What do you think I’m going to do?” Did everyone think he was that depraved? He scowled at Andrea. She just laughed.

“Parker, you’ve undressed her all night with your eyes. Just wanted to remind you this is a family establishment. Keep it PG-13 at least.” She laughed even harder when his jaw clenched.

Truth was, he hadn’t just undressed her in his mind, he had done some nasty stuff to her in there as well. Andrea met Joseph at the front door, both chuckling as they left.

“We’re heading upstairs,” Ronan said.

“Okay. I’ll close up. Be up later.” Parker eased the remaining customers out the door and turned off the open sign.

Astrid had just finished wiping the remaining tables when he returned from locking up the cash drawer in the safe. Wandering over to the jukebox, she slowly flipped through the selections until she punched in a number.

“Here’s a blast from the past. I loved them in middle school,” she said with a grin. “Come on, you know you want to dance.” She waved at him to come over. He leaned back against the bar and watched as she swayed to the music.

She was no longer the sweet, shy woman he met in the fall. She moved in a way that begged him to touch her. Her hands rose above her head as she danced. Her shirt lifted even higher and his mouth went dry.

Astrid looked over at him with sultry eyes and the last vestiges of his resolve flew out the window. Two strides had him crashing his mouth down on hers. She grabbed the front of his shirt, pulling him closer.

He wrapped both hands around her ass and picked her up. Two more steps had him setting her on one of the tables. Her tongue slid against his as his hands found the soft skin of her back. He pulled her against him—the bulge in his pants pressed against her heat was hard to misinterpret.

Open kisses traced down her neck until he found the spot on her neck that made her moan. It was a sound that made his cock painfully hard. Her skin tasted salty on his lips from a night of working in his bar and he wanted to lick every inch of her body. His hands moved to the soft hair she had cut short at the beginning of summer.

“Parker,” she moaned. His mouth found hers again, the need to claim her overwhelming him. He didn’t care if it was only for the moment or eternity. He wanted whatever time she gave him. Their tongues fought for control as he ground against her heat.

“Damn, man. I said to make up with her, not dry-hump her on a table. That’s some apology.” Parker jumped back at the sound of Liam’s voice. He desperately tried to catch his breath as he stood staring into her eyes. He liked the look of lust in them right before a tinge of red started up her neck. She jumped off the table and smoothed down her clothes.

“Hey, don’t let us break up the party,” Liam added.

“What? What do you want?” Parker growled. He spun around to find both twins grinning from the hallway.

“We need to post some warning signs in this establishment,” Ronan said. “And they say teenage hormones are the problem.” When Parker started for them, they ran laughing toward the kitchen door.

“Liam forgot his phone,” Ro called over his shoulder. They disappeared into the back. Parker turned to find Astrid still standing by the table.

“I should go,” she said.
