But it's not just the ecstasy in her voice.

It's not just the aftershocks of my orgasm.

It's everything about being around her.

I kiss her hard then I clean up in the bathroom. When I'm done, she's standing outside the door waiting for me.

Neither one of us says anything about our impending appointment.

The entire drive home, the messy make out session in the shower, watching cheesy cop shows together on the couch—all night, neither one of us says anything about where we'll be this time next week.

Bella and I wake up together. We shower together. We have breakfast together.

We spend the afternoon watching Harry Potter movies, only breaking to fix lunch together.

It goes too fast.

I blink and it's sunset.

And we're getting in the car, arguing over what we should play on the drive to Kit's place, parking, laughing as we race up the stairs to his apartment.

Then we're at the door.

I'm not ready for all the opinions of my bandmates. And I'm not ready to tell them how I feel about her.

Do I bullshit them the way I always do?

Or should I confess the truth?

Her blue eyes light up as she looks at Bella. She smiles. "It's so nice to meet you. I'm Piper."

"Bella." She shakes Piper's hand.

Piper motions come in. After we do, she closes the door behind us. "Okay, let me get this gushing out of the way." She holds out her left hand and wiggles her ring finger to show off her massive rock.

It's not as big as Bella's.

But then Kit's not the showy type.

Piper lets out a dreamy sigh. "Isn't it beautiful?"
