“I don’t think now. . .” I start to weakly protest but Sage’s good arm reaches up and she grabs hold of the front if my shirt and pulls me down.
“Don’t stop!” She mutters.
“Yeah Jax, don’t stop.” Kai says, my eyes snap to his and his fill with challenge.
I give in and grin.
If Sage doesn’t want to stop and Kai doesn’t want to stop then like fuck am I stopping. It will help to distract Sage from the pain in her shoulder as well. I’m vaguely aware of the others moving away from us but that’s the last thing I’m aware of as my lips crash down onto Sage’s. Kai’s fingers dip into the front of my pants and he pulls me even closer against Sage making all three of us groan. I take a gamble and run my fingers along his taught abs feeling them ripple beneath my fingers. Sage runs her good hand up under my shirt scratching against my chest and making me groan. Our tongues fight for dominance as she pushes back against Kai and pulls us closer.
“Guys!” Hunt yells.
I smirk against Sage’s lips not stopping and neither does Kai as he carries on kissing Sage’s neck.
“Seriously guys you’re about to cause a massive magical flare up.” Kysen adds sounding highly amused.
I sigh and kiss her one last time before pulling back and resting my head against hers. Kai does the same but doesn’t move his hand from gripping the waistband of my pants.
I lean back and raise my eyebrow at Kai. Sage dips her eyes and then bites her lip hiding her smirk as she looks back over her shoulder at Kai. He simply smirks undeterred as he slowly moves his fingers making a whole body shiver run through me.
“Enough, guys. We’ve got to move on!” Levi orders and I finally listen so does Kai.
I try to contain my groan as Kai lets go and Sage slowly drags her nails down my chest as I step back.
“You two are a force to be reckoned with when your together, I’ve got no chance.” I mutter not really meaning to say it out loud.
They both share a mischievous look and I know for certain that I am utterly fucked. Hopefully in more ways than one when it comes to Sage and Kai. I shake myself back to reality.
“How’s your shoulder, Darling?” Levi asks.
“Erm actually it doesn’t hurt at all.” She says sounding confused and she pushes her way out from in between me and Kai.
Kai moves closer to me and I put my arm around his shoulder automatically. I quickly move it again and Kai’s mouth kicks up into a lopsided smirk.
“What are you doing Beautiful?” Kai asks suddenly frowning again. “You’re going to hurt yourself.”
“It doesn’t hurt at all.” She counters as she moves the gauze that has stuck to the front of her wound.
“Whoa.” I exclaim.
The arrow wound is gone. If it wasn’t for the dried blood surrounding the area where it used to be I’d never have believed that it was their in the first place.
“Well I’ve not heard of that happening before.” Kysen says breaking the shocked silence. “Can’t say I’m surprised though.” He chuckles.
“Me neither. My skills are just that good.” Kai smirks puffing out his chest and we all crack up laughing.
“Come on let’s get going that’s a pretty big delay again.” Levi says.
“I’m definitely ready to leave.” Sage smirks as she walks towards Dave and climbs up using her arm as if nothing had happened to it.
It must really be ok.
I’m beyond relieved, I hate to see her in pain. We all get back on the horses and set off at a slower pace.
Chapter Twelve
Sage
“Does it ever calm down around you guys?” Kysen asks after we’ve been riding for a few minutes.
