“That’s really cool, you know I love how smart you are, right Jax?” I ask.

He ducks his head, “really? You don’t think it’s nerdy?”

“Not at all Jax, I think it’s hot. I… think you’re hot, I’m really into you,” I confess.

“Can we talk about you and I?” Jax asks.

“Of course, what do you want to talk about?” I respond.

“Well, I know you know I’m,” he pauses before continuing, “a virgin.”

I smile, “yes, I do Jax and I love it. I really do, you make me feel so special.”

“I always want to make you feel special, Aly. And to do that, I want to take things slow with you. I’ve always believed I would find my mate and I want to do things right, now that we have. Let’s grow a connection together and let me woo you a little. We don’t need to rush anything. Are you okay with that?”

My heart absolutely melts. I love that the guys are all different but I am especially grateful for how sweet and considerate Jax is. He wants us to build our bond and I’m excited to do that, considering how my first bond went.

“Jax that sounds incredible. I love that, thank you.”

I lean in close for a kiss, without actually touching his lips, giving him the option of kissing me or not. It seems like an exceptional first step.

He bridges the gap, tentatively touching his lips to mind but smoothly taking control without being controlling. He’s not aggressive or demanding, but he still takes the lead and sets a rhythm for us.

The kiss is over too soon but now that we’ve had our first kiss, I plan on having more and often.

I give him a beaming smile so he knows how happy this has made me and he smiles back.

It’s crazy how opposite he is of his twin but I love that they have their own personalities. They are completely their own people, even if they look identical.

“So should we get back to our project?” He asks.

“Or we could keep kissing,” I suggest with a wink.

He leans in right away and we do just that. We start slow until we are really making out, his hand is tangled in my hair and I climb on his lap. He runs his fingers firmly down my spine and I shiver in his arms.

He brings his lips to my neck, feathering a soft kiss before surprising me and following it up with a hard nip. He licks up my neck before kissing down it again and I feel my skin pebble under him.

“Aly,” he groans when I grind down onto his hard on.

“What? We still have all our clothes on,” I point out, wiggling again.

He must agree because he brings one hand down to my hip and grinds me against him again, harder. His tongue flicks across my pulse point and I moan.

I tangle my hand in his hair, giving it a tug, I bring his lips back up to mine. I want him so bad, but I also love having this more innocent make out and knowing it’s not going anywhere else. It’s surprisingly hot, probably because it’s with Ajax. I run my hand under his shirt, caressing his soft skin and feeling his muscles. He is definitely as ripped as the rest of his friends, is it a supernatural thing?

Eventually, I pull back and reluctantly remove myself from his lap. I drop one more quick kiss on his lips.

“Okay, now we should work,” I say.

“Sure, because it’ll be so easy to focus now,” Jax jokes and punctuates it with a wink.

I laugh before saying, “I love it when you joke with me, you’re funny Jax,” I confess. Sometimes with Ajax, I feel like I get to share things that just come obviously to the other guys.

He beams at me and I’m glad I said it.

“Good Aly, I always want to see you smiling, especially when it’s directed at me,” he says.

I give him another smile just for that and turn back to my book with a blush staining my cheeks. I’ve never blushed as much in my life as I do around Jax.
