“Get your crab hands off me, Sebastian.”
“Slow your roll, Rebel.” She bares her teeth at me, making me chuckle.
“Such a feisty little thing. Have I ever told you how hot you are when you're violent?” I murmur, my cock fucking hard as a rock.
“Fuck you. I’m ready. Let’s go.” I shake my head before releasing her and grab her hands, making sure she is looking at me this time.
“This isn’t a game, Mary. Are you sure you want to be down there? I can do this with Roman and put it behind us. You don't have to do anything.” Her whole demeanor changes. She closes her eyes and takes a deep breath before looking back up at me with pure determination.
“I’m sure, Seb.”
Chapter 25
Mary
AsIscanthedark basement, my gaze catches on a figure in the corner, sending a surge of adrenaline coursing through my veins. In the far shadows, Tyler hangs in torment, rusted chains digging into his flesh, causing heaps of blood to drip down his arms. Aside from the metal table by the wall, the room is empty.
As we approach, I can see his ugly scowl—a chilling reminder of who he really is. My spine tingles as I see the cold, calculating cruelty in his eyes.
This is the man who has caused so much pain and suffering, and now it's time for him to face his own judgment. My hands tremble as I reach into my pocket, feeling the weight of the object hidden there. The strength I held upstairs is slowly fading, replaced with fear. My heart is fucking pounding so hard I'm surprised everyone in the room can’t hear it.
This man still scares me. But as I look over my shoulder, I see Damon, Ace, Roman, and Seb—all standing there withadmiration gleaming in each of their eyes as they watch me face my demons.
They’re here to protect me if anything goes sideways.
I step closer, my gaze locking with Tyler’s. His eyes narrow, momentarily distracted by everyone in the room, his cruel scowl faltering for a fraction of a second.
"You think you can break me with your pathetic attempts?" he spits, his voice laced with venom. “You do realize you won’t get away with this, right? You’re all going to pay for this!” I smirk, knowing it’ll piss him off more.
“Who’s the one suspended by chains right now? Because it's definitely not me at your mercy this time.” A flicker of uncertainty flashes across his face. He pulls against his restraints, but the chains hold firm. The realization he’s no longer in control seems to gnaw at him, chipping away at his fake façade.
I pull out the dagger Seb gave me and bring it to his wrist. It slices through the same way he did to mine—but this time, I make sure to cut deep enough to hit the artery. His blood sprays all over my face, but I don’t flinch.
A smile takes over from the feeling of making him bleed. Time is lost on me as I watch the blood drip down his arms, landing on his face as he screams. Seb walks around to the other side of where his body is hanging as he brings his knife down into Tyler’s lower back before shoving it through. Tyler’s sobs and screams are nothing but background noise at this point.
Ace comes to stand next to me, trying to peel the knife from my hands.
“Let go, Little Rebel,” he says calmly, probably seeing the chaos in my eyes.
I release my grip on the handle, and he wipes the blood off, putting it away in his pocket and presses a gun into my palm instead. Seb’s still having fun with Tyler as I look at the metal inmy hand. One bullet is all it will take. Death is what Tyler and his family deserve.
“That’s for touching what is mine,” Seb says, cutting him again.
“That’s for trying to kill her during the game.”
Stab.
“That’s for drugging her.”
Slash.
I watch the only man I’ve ever loved hurt the one who took so much from me. With the loaded gun in my hands, I take a few steps forward as Seb pauses and looks at me. Every inch of his face, arms, and shirt is covered in Tyler’s blood. But the gore isn’t what halts my movements—it’s the lust I see in Seb's eyes as he looks at me.
I’m ready to end this. Taking the last few steps until I’m standing in front of Tyler’s bleeding body, I raise the gun, aim it between his eyes, and wait for Seb to move behind me.
“You tried to ruin my life.” I pause as I look over my shoulder at Seb, seeing nothing but love shining in his eyes as he gives me a nod. “Now you won’t be able to ruin anyone else’s. Tell Anthony I said hi.” Not giving him a chance to respond, I pull the trigger. The bullet pierces his skull, and his head slumps.
My body jolts as blood splatters across my face, thick and warm. The metallic scent floods my senses.
